Still think the eagles might look at zinter at 50 like they did with Landon Dickerson.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

50 and 53 and get a third rounder back?

That's pricey to get to say 35. But you're right. If Howie wants to, he could.

Would love to get Zinter sometime tomorrow or early Saturday.

Does everyone think Howie tried to trade up for an OT and failed or did he want a CB all along and played it right?

Howie on AJ extension (paraphrase): like to keep the team together and make deals early. Great player, captain.

Cooper Dejean still on the board? Man that would be a heck of a draft. Shadowing 2002

Kid can play. Not sexy but a decent pick

Gave up 0 sacks in 355 chances last year, gave up 2 in 400 chances the previous year. He is raw still but definitely a specimen to work with, hopefully Dallas hasn’t whiffed on their second first round pick in a row, Mazi Smith was a poor selection last year.

Did not want DeJean at 22. Would LOVE him in the 2nd. Trade up!

Board fell perfectly for the Eagles.  Value met need at their pick, for once.  Hard to believe they could sit at #22 and still have their pick of all CBs in this draft.  That’s like getting an extra draft pick, as many pundits had them trading up from 22 to 12/13 range to draft Mitchell.

Once the Falcons picked I think he decided to see how things unfolded. The Saints apparently wanted to trade back, so I doubt he wanted any of the linemen still on the board at that point.

Have a feeling beebee might not be there.

Now they can grab their backup OL. Would love Cooper but not making it to 50

Maybe not all the way to 50.  But definitely within a trade up using those fifth rounders we have.

Also, day 2 behaves a little differently than day 1.  The talent curve has flattened out and teams get more comfortable addressing need over value.  You'll start seeing LBs, Safeties, and RBs coming off the board.

I think he’s going to go quick. He’s the last guy with pro bowl level upside left at tackle. But I admit, I am enamored with him and have been for half a year now.
