  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

That would be like Howie 3rd straight draft where he just listens to the people.

The blog should run the draft

There’s no way Suamataia drops to us in the third, is there?

You didn't think he'd make it to 50.

Opinions on him are all over the place

I think vic may move coop all over the field.

Could be a real weapon.

Now you need Payton Wilson who is absolutely everywhere as well. These guys roaming in zone coverages with their instincts and range will shut every passing window down for opposing QBs.

We have, what, six Day 3 picks?  Plenty of ammo to move up if we want

I would have to have final say.

What an endorsement

He has to go soon though, we’d have to move up again.  I’m all for it!

His drafting hasn’t exactly been on point the past 5-6 years

The Pats' drafting on defense has always been solid.

I often worry about how effective they'll be in run support with converted WRs. Pound for pound doesn't mean much when you're not wrestling or boxing. No weight classes in football.

Last year I wanted Jalen Carter, but I would have been fine with Nolan at 10 if Carter was gone. We got both.

I thought we’d have to trade up for Mitchell, and I would have been very happy with DeJean at 22. We got both.

Just speechless. The young talent assembled on defense…they need to produce, but Howie is setting the table.

So he can be a Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio. All exciting whites

Bill Belicheck had DeJean as the 23rd best player in the draft, BTW.

While that could be viewed as a nice feather in the cap... the Patriots drafting under Belichek was a little shaky over the years.   Granted he was always better with DBs than WRs.  There is a lot to be happy about so far.

You can probably put Roman Wilson on there.
