  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

There always a path for a player to be disappointing or bust, but I’m irrationally confident that he’s going to be good somewhere.

Outside or in the slot, I think he'll struggle to keep up with the better route runners and shiftier wide outs, but he's got the tools to be one of the better safeties in the league in short order.

Lol. They sniped him 21 picks before us?

You never know when Howie will strike with a trade up.   Every pick is a snipe of Howie.

Joe - are they really gonna try and plug Guyton in as the starting LT? That seems like a disaster. He could be very good in the future, but he isn’t ready yet.

No idea…some are thinking they might move Steele inside, Tyler Smith to LT and put him at RT. They should have taken Colson or Benson with that pick imo…Maybe they’re thinking one of those guys will slip to 73 idk. I’m fine with the Guyton pick.

My guy that coached Kingsley Suamataia says the Eagles keep blowing him up on the phone.... (so does KC and the Niners).

JUST texted me that

That all comes down to Jayden Daniels.  If he's a hit... absolutely.   If he's another bust in a long line of Washington QB busts... not much of a threat.   But they are doing a decent job building around the QB position.

I was not happy when the team was sold away from Snyder. That guy deserved to be out of the league, but I always felt comfortable discounting them as a threat while he was there in charge.

Man, the draft is so much nicer to watch when they walk up and just announce the pick.

It will help to get a better pass rush.    But, the flip side of that, the pass rush will benefit from not having traffic cones playing in the secondary.

Do our 5s have an increased value on the alternative chart vs Jimmy Johnson legacy version?

Our fifth rounders would buy 4 to 5 picks in a 3rd round trade up.

Mitchell needs to work on his hands

He has instincts along with quick twitch quickness and getting away from cop speed.

I want those 5th rounders. Thats were we can find some OL depth, an undersized but menacing pass rusher, a slot WR, a RB....

Rodgers as well. They probably don't have any linebackers but maybe Howie can make a trade.

What's the point of doing this in RD2? It's not RD7 when you need to recruit UDFAs.

Yes but still needs some time with jugs machine some analysts and scouts said. Can’t say I’ve ever watched a snap of a Toledo game.

No worries... the guy that bought it hired the fraud Daryl Morey to be the GM here in Philly.   So, Washington might just get to a frustrating plateau and get stuck there.

Last time CJGJ was here, our past rush was outstanding.  I know he was not the entire reason, but that was the first thought I had when we signed him again.  And now they continue to build it further…can’t hurt.  It’s always a little bit of both when it comes to the D line and secondary complementing each other. It was just far too lopsided last year.

Never really considered moving Steele to LG. That would be…interesting. Moving Smith to LT from LG - not sure I would do it. Guyton at RT. So still need someone at center.

But in that scenario, 4 of 5 spots are new. Only Zach Martin is a constant.

very nice pick for Buffalo.

We didnt need him though!
