Howie did very well with the first two picks.   This third pick, I think he's trying to be too cute.   I could be wrong, but I don't know why we want to accumulate so many picks in Round 4.  I'd have been very happy with Zinter.   Now, maybe during that meeting they found out they didn't really like him that much.  But... doesn't seem like that to me.  I think Howie overplayed his hand on that pick.

seems so.

Now what is pushing Javon Baker down?

I know Franklin wasnt everyone's cup of tea. But Baker shouldnt fall out of the 3rd.

Good question on Baker. He can play.

Tykee Smith was a dawg

You know the Ravens are going to take Wilson right before us.

Could they be working on a player trade as we speak and needed time to negotiate terms?

We have a zillion picks, trade back up.

WTF are we going to do with all these mid round picks?

The draft isn't good enough and we are not an expansion team quality roster.

disagree.

I would have thought that haynes or zinter would have been targets and they're both gone now.  however,  I do like a lot of picks.

How about a running back?  Or, 2 running backs?  Luke McCaffrey?    The biggest running back and the fastest?  Braelon Allen and Issac Guerendo and Luke McCaffrey.   The Eagles have places on their roster for 4th round picks. That really tall Johnny Wilson?   Theo Johnson?   The offense at the skill positions could go from an expected 2 to 4.   RB RB WR TE instead of RB and WR or TE.

I hope the Eagles didn't have their guys taken and that's why they decided to trade down. Most of the OLs got taken a pick or two before. Trading up for them in the 3rd if they wanted one wouldn't have been expensive. Moving up only 3 or so spots in the 3rd. Hoping for a plan.

The plan is for 2025 picks. Or a player trade. I bet they only draft twice in the 4th.

We turned pick 53 into a bunch of slop. Thank goodness DeJean is a baller.

I know a lot of people are mad because a favorite prospect is gone, but there can be lots of value in these picks.

Adisa Isaac.  16 picks later, too.

If you think the talent pool is flat from 50 to 150 it makes sense…

What is wrong with TJ Tampa

They might get a hankering to get to the top of the 4th after sleeping on it.

I think that's exactly what happened

Our roster does not have room for 6 mid round picks. Better f'in trade a couple into next year.

nice CB pick this late. has to be only because of his age.

We were saying this before RD2 started.

I wonder if teams think he is strictly zone only after his workout. Considering he mostly was a zone CB in college. I thought hed be faster than he was.

The 4th isn’t bad. 5th and on is rough.

I suppose the 4D chess idea is that teams will get desperate to move into Round 4 when the talent runs out... so Howie loads up on those picks, with the plan to turn multiple 4ths into 2025 3rd round picks.   If so... then I take back my comment about overplaying his hand.

Turning 50 & 53, into Cooper Dejean & 78 and moving up in Round 5, and then turning 78 into multiple 2025 3rd/4th round picks would be a good set of moves.

I like him… 34.5” arms, solid in coverage.

If they wanted a LB I'm surprised they didn't just take Wilson.

They won't use all those. Trade up or trade for future picks.

We can use a WR 3 very soon, but in the 6th we can get a WR4, and a RB.

Start trading picks for next year

packers selecting an abysmal LB.

There are some players left at OG, LB, WR and TE. Maybe we’ll pick one sometime.
