Pretty much the only move they've made this offseason that I don't like.

But that's the cost of how the Eagles value the backup QB position.  IMO, they over-value it.  Regardless, they definitely value it more than the vast majority of teams.

I'd also add that coaching and scheme become more important in rounds 4-7 than 1-3.  They are always important, but in rounds 1 (and 2), you are looking at some players that should have a pretty good chance of success independent of scheme and coaching.  In 4-7, the petri dish you place them in may be more important than the pick itself.

It's better to cut picks and have them claimed than have to put someone on the roster who isn't a NFL caliber player.

And most cuts make it to the PS b/c other teams like their players and don't want to cut them for a waiver wire rookie.

Howie has had three excellent drafts b/c he learned to trust his board, no reason to stop now.
