  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Nobody can get Howie off the phone

The talent is flat. You aren’t going to get a difference maker and the difference between players you can get in the 4th and 5th is negligible.

These are humans not fungible widgets. Fit matters. Personality matters. That why we pay a ton of scouts. And i find it silly to believe they think these players arent draftable

HOWIE ROSEMAN

I like this one too.

We won’t have comp picks next year I’m done with 62 picks in the next draft we can package them for the players we want!

Next pick is going to be an underwhelming OL pick.

I'd like one of Johnny Wilson, Malik Washington, Jaheim Bell, Michael Barrett, Leonard Taylor, Mohamad Kamara

It’s not that they are "not draftable.”

It’s that the top guy left on their board and the 50th guy left on their board aren’t that different in terms of perceived talent.

It has nothing to do with "not draftable". It's a matter of "less draftable than what we expect at the picks we got in return". The scouts also need to be able to tell us that too.

I have a feeling Zach Cunningham is coming back.

I'm surprised it hasn't already been announced.

That’s is some quote

Hmmm.  Trotter Jr is still available (barely).  I could see Howie taking a risk on a hometown boy in the 5th (but not earlier).

By dropping back 32 spots with this particular trade. And likewise, Detroit will likely make this a late 4th rd pick next year. It's an underwhelming move.

It's a weak draft this year.   A 4th this year isn't a 4th in a standard year.    I think this is a good move.  Still have lots of picks of basically the same value player to come.

Yes, but now do you try to get him on the PS, or do you have to use a 53 slot to keep him. You've got 5 edge rushers, 6-7 DL, 4 ILB, 9-10 DB.

Depends on how he looks and plays thru camps this summer.

I like Johnny Wilson.  I know drops can be a issue.  Would be on board with him as the pick. I rather have Trotter Jr over Michael Barrett though.

4 picks left this round, how many will be traded? 🤣

Saints take Rattler. So at least that's not an option.

Saints need a QB. Rattler here?

Mekhi Wingo is an Eagles pick if there's ever been one.

I think you avoid Trotter at all costs. He comes here and no matter where he's picked, the expectations are going to be more than he's able to give. He's not his dad, and while a lot of us might realize that, you have more ignorant fans out there who are going to want him to be the next Trotter. Those fans will be the loudest too. It's just not ideal IMO.

Of the 30 picks or so Howie gave up moving back, how many would have been remotely interesting to the Eagles? 3? 4?
