  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

He obviously fell for a reason. Looked pretty solid when I watched Clemson though, but I didn't study him.

Strengths

  • NFL bloodlines and outstanding football IQ.
  • Plays with anticipation to mirror play development.
  • Talented in slipping blocks with no wasted motion.
  • Attacks blocks with force to spill runners wide or to set an edge outside.
  • Excellent body control and change of direction to maintain tackle potential.
  • Comes to balance and wraps up the runner with ideal target points.
  • Rare elusiveness and footwork creates high-end success as a blitzer.

Weaknesses

  • Lacking length and can be engulfed by blocker if he’s too static.
  • Chance-taking while running the alley can work against him.
  • Tape showed inconsistency with finding run fits against Notre Dame.
  • Loses track of coverage duties from zone.
  • Can be fooled by eye candy on play-action passes.

"Really smart. Always under control. He gets guys lined up and he’s really quick to read and react. If he was a little bigger I could see him going in the first [round].” - AFC executive

Like the Trotter pick. I know he isn't perfect but I like the pedigree and the chip on his shoulder

So happy for Trotter Sr - and obviously Jr

I think when we look back Trotter Jr has better NFL career than Dean. Time will tell.

Now, are there any TE's left?

Did Chad Lewis kid declare?

Just watched smith muff 2 punt returns and run one in for a TD djax style.

he actually looks really good with a great technique on putting his foot in the ground and changing direction

Anyone unhappy with the Trotter pick can just log off and never come back.    Gotta love it.   Is he smaller than ideal?  Yes.   Is he slower than ideal?  Probably.  Is he the offspring of my favorite Eagles' LB?  Yes!

Welcome home, li'l Axeman!

Is Wiley still there?

Can he possibly be worse than Casey Matthews?

Jr in the 5th rd is a no-brainer.

do we still have 210 in the 6th?
