  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Good receiver and a try hard but not exciting blocker. That's ok with me.

Two mildly intriguing, if uninspiring, picks in Smith and Trotter Jr.

Smith might challenge for Quez’s job, which is good.  Shifty is also good, but a lot of the shifts are sideways and don’t seem to gain him a lot …. and he’s fond of dropping punts, which is somewhat scary.

Trotter Jr. didn’t really appeal to me on tape; his fellow Clemson LB who didn’t declare this year is a much better player.  If he stays healthier than Nakobe Dean then, who knows, there might be a good player there.

Hoping we can see a trotter reaction to jr getting drafted by Philly

Pretty damn cool they took Trotter there. Happy for their family. Hope he balls out.

He's probably crying right now. We will. I want to see that phone call.

Awesome kid. I’m shocked he’s come as far as he has. I’m rooting for him wherever he goes. I think he’s likely destined to be a backup. I actually think niners with cowing are getting a stud.

54 is available!!!!

I honestly feel like people started holding the name against him and were overly harsh in their draft assessments

He adds depth, and as a late 5th, can probably make it to the PS if he's beat out in camp.

Howie was patient, picked up extra picks and still got the slot WR and ILB.

Just watched smith muff 2 punt returns and run one in for a TD djax style.

he actually looks really good with a great technique on putting his foot in the ground and changing direction

He’s one of my favorite players in this draft.

He’ll be a role player, but I think he carves out a solid NFL career as a do everything chess piece. He can play WR, RB, KR, PR, and he has tremendous heart and is willing to block guys twice his size, and does it effectively.

The type of guy every team needs.

Kamara at 158 is incredible value. The Dolphins have a serious pass rush with their injured guys coming back and this draft.

What picks do we have remaining?

Lions and Eagles: The Lions traded the Nos. 164 and 201 picks and a 2025 fourth-rounder to the Eagles for the Nos. 132 and 210 picks. At No. 132, the Lions selected Utah S/RB Sione Vaki.

• Texans and Eagles: The Texans traded the No. 127 pick and a 2025 fifth-rounder to the Eagles for the 123rd pick. At No. 123, Houston selected Ohio State TE Cade Stover. At No. 127, the Eagles picked Clemson RB Will Shipley.

• Dolphins and Eagles: The Dolphins traded a 2025 third-round pick to the Eagles for the 120th pick. At No. 120, Miami selected Tennessee RB Jaylen Wright.

Quez is gone thank God

Paying TJ Edwards = bad
Drafting TJ Edwards in RD5 = good

Trotter Jr has every shot to beat out Nakobe Dean.

I’m referring to the job Quez had — not the actual guy.

Think we just traded 164 and 201 to move up. Still have 171 and 172.

And Howie likes to throw guaranteed money at the UDFAs he wants.

Very different skill sets. Quez was a deep threat with great length, and no physicality.

Smith is PHYSICAL, can play RB and as a slot receiver is much more of a run after catch guy.

First pick I don't love but maybe just one of him or Dean work out. Then we are good.

Would be hard to play them together.

Maybe but they’re not the same player. The big issue for Dean is just staying on the field
