Baun is easily expendable, new guy who isn't anything special

The Eagles seemed VERY high on him when they signed him and seem to really like his position versatility. I think they signed him with an intended role on this team.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Interesting stat: Johnny Wilson led this years stated eligible receivers in yards per game as an isolated receiver. Basically, he was playing X and winning, and wasn’t relying on wide receiver screens and cheap routes to get his yards.

Underdog fantasy has a nice video on him. I’ll try to find it.

Dude pushes off a ton it seems

too upright. But some raw tools to work with. Let him follow AJ all year

They'll keep at most 3 backs on the active roster with Saquon here. 6 receivers. Parker isn't making this team.

No way do they only keep 3 backs on the roster. They kept 4 last year and Penny didn't even dress. Saquon is the lead dog but if he goes down, you can't just have 2 backs.

Looking forward to rooting against the Dolphins next season.

Washington was starting with an inventory of picks with higher value because they stunk.  In any case let's hope their picks disappoint and our picks overachieve

I love Mikey and want him to do well. Just not against us. I pray Sinnott doesn't turn out to be another Witten.

Overall i like the way the draft played out.  Coincidentally, the 2 WR picks don’t do much for me…but both are complete flyers that if they produce that’s great, if they don’t make it out of TC, oh well.  Trotter being a feel good pick is nice, though i hope the team doesn’t feel the need to keep him if it doesn’t work.

The 2 OL picks i love if nothing else besides depth.  Having Jurgens insurance will be nice.  Keegan is a lunch pail guy that will stick around, get his reps if someone gets hurt.

Even if he’s another Witten, they got a QB who needs the field broken in half to work and struggles seeing the middle of the field because of his size right now (which is weird because he’s way bigger than he plays).  Will Daniel’s Daniels develop?  Probably.

I think a majority of Eagles fans really like this draft overall

However, everyone should remember this day because in 2-3 years if some or all of these players dont work out, dont go calling for Howie's job because overall people like these picks and thought the FO did a great job. Nothing more I hate then someone saying something then when it doesnt turn out they lie and say all along they didnt like it and want someone fired.

Just like a poster here I wont call out his name. Though the draft was trash after the 2nd/3rd round and we should trade all the picks. Didnt want Trotter Jr at all, also claimed Wilson had to be moved to TE and he couldn't see him as a WR. Now he was happy with our Day 3 picks and through they were good pick ups for the round, We draft Trotter and hes thrilled with the pick now. Reports come out Wilson will be positioned as a WR and is the best fit and now he posts Oh Wilson can;t be a TE, he needs to be a WR. Just eat your crow and move on, don't change your mind after the data, facts and results happen and claim it was your theory all along.

We don’t get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars like Howie and Co does for the draft…

We can crow about getting DeJean but it’s worth remembering that Washington got Mikey Sanristill and Ben Sinnott with 50 and 53. Who won that trade?

I like DeJean.

They have to prove it on the field.

For now I'm just envisioning DeJean being a big time play maker, and Sainristil getting trucked by Barkley over and over again.

If him and sinnott turn out really good then maybe they win. I do like Sinnott a lot. Just curious how well Sainristil will transition to the NFL.

I don't like this draft.

Howie got a bit too cute starting on day two with Cooper DeJean.

We needed premium linemen too.

Don't think we treated OL or DL with enough talent to backfill loss of players like Kelce, Cox, and eventually Lane and BG.

Next year, I guess.

I really thought they would.  That's your Zach Pascal type WR that everyone loves.

Great hands and probably best run blocking WR in the draft.

One to keep an eye on if he doesn't make their team.

Chiefs, Washington and the Lions all had terrific drafts. The Steelers had a sneaky good one too.

The Steelers o-line has the potential to be one of the best in the league. The pairing of Wilson & Queen at LB leaves me envious too.

its for our UK fans. They like castles.

No word of a lie,but I got out of the house and walk down a road, I can see a castle in the distance. Not a big one, but a caste all the same

Anyone calling Will Shipley a JAG should not be trusted. I'm not here to tell you he'll be good. But he was highly productive and durable at Clemson. He's athletic. He's big enough. He's a good receiver. By all accounts, super high character kid. His biggest issue is lack of elite elusiveness and contact balance. Those RBs get picked in RDs3-5 in the NFL draft every year.

He's better than 2023 Boston Scott and Penny.

Have to include Hunt in the trade balance, no?

I highly doubt they would start 3 rookies across the OL but this is an OL with serious, serious potential. They can keep Fautanu at LT or they can plug him in at LG and keep Dan Moore at LT.

LT- Troy Fautanu (R)  LG- Isaac Seumalo  C- Zach Frazier (R)  RG-  Mason McCormick (R)  RT- Broderick Jones

It's been 24hrs so at this point I'm past good or bad draft for any team including the Eagles.  We all know things play out differently than they look on paper.

Hunt + all the 2025 draft picks we got.

Clemson just hasn't been the same on offense the last 2 years. Basically since Trevor Lawrence left, they've been a trainwreck. Will Shipley has been the one consistent piece for them. The supporting cast around him hasn't been great and defenses could key on him too. He's not a huge game breaking threat but he's steady, reliable and good in all 3 facets of the game. He doesn't have to come off the field.

Kendall Milton is no slouch either. I like him as an UDFA and think he can easily earn a spot.

I don't know how well you can even evaluate rookie RBs in the modern version of training camp with so little full contact.  And the preseason games are sloppy 4th stringers vs 4th stringers that they put so little weight on

I think Shipley is a lot better than anyone is giving him credit for and I think that’s going to shine through early.

The eagles like to paradoxically feature the depth RBs when the #1 is getting a breather just to keep a defense honest.  I bet we see that with Shipley more than a bit this year.

I also think there’s less to Smith than anyone realizes at this point.
