On Kelce, it'd be a shame to see him go out the way the season ended, but I understand, he's 36, not young by football standards, especially for the position he plays, and he has a young family. He's set himself up for his post football career. If he's truly done, I'll see him in Canton in 5 years.

On Sirianni, generally, a coach that has you in the playoffs, including a Super Bowl appearance in their first 3 years, is one you'd, for obvious reasons, keep around. That said, I think he should be let go. You go from being 10-1, to 11-6, and a first round exit in the playoffs, there's clearly an issue here, and it's not just on the OC/DC. Just my 0.02

Good to see you, it's been a minute...

I'm not as concerend about Hurts as so many others are, but it's obvious that Johnson's and Siri's system was clearly not a schematic fit for him. Hearing Aikman and the Mannings dump on the coaching staff throughout the game only solidified what a majority of Eagles fans have been saying throughout the course of the season. Outside of Stoutland and Clay I can't really think of any other coaches that should be retained at this point.

For the coaching staff to send out Kelce this way is just pathetic. He really deserves more for all that he did for the team and the city.

Wonder if you bring in Vrabel he brings Arthur Smith with him as the OC. As the OC with Vrabel he was 10th and 4th in ppg in 19 and 2020.

Sign Henry for a year and finally be a dominant run team over the left side if the line.

Henry is a shell of king henry

You liking Arthur Smith if Vrabel comes?

I don’t know. the recent history doesn’t make me feel great about it. There was nothing innovative or greatly designed with the falcons. They had Qb issues but their play calling wasn’t good either and weird. I tend to think Jeffrey lurie is going to want somebody like Slowik or Johnson that the league really covets and thinks are the next big things. I think lurie wants his next reid more than hoping an OC pans out

Titans Offensive line was also crap.

If you retain Sirianni, how do you get a top flight OC to come in here? This is Nick's offense. Someone like Kellen Moore or Bienemy isn't coming here to call plays for someone else's offense.

If you keep Nick, you're keeping Brian Johnson most likely.

Right.  Imagine any talented offensive coach signing up to implement Sirianni's abortion of an offense.  With a huge risk of being fired when the team is bad next year and Siri gets canned.

Suicidal career move.

So you'll only get terrible candidates.

If this is still his pitch to Lurie at his exit interview, he will be fired

Well no one is suggesting eagles bring in the titans O line, having said that henry is still a shell of himself.

Now that I've heard Ben Johnson wants FIFTEEN MILLION ($15m) per year, there's no chance we get him.  If Lurie strokes a check that big it will be for a guy like BB.

I mean if you did basic math you could verify and would see this isn't true.

690 screen plays over 18 games would be roughly 38 screen passes per game.

Seems reasonable with this offense

Bill Belichick should never be allowed near personnel decisions again. He can still coach, but he is an abhorrent GM.

Right but if he doesn't end up getting a coaching job, some team could think he can help them build.  Carrol has gone into management in Seattle, Coughlin did that at one point.  Teams make bad decisions on hires, they get hung up on past success.

Dream is
Ben Johnson HC/OC

Jesse Minter DC

Happy with Vrabel

So is it a forgone conclusion that Sirianni and his staff is gone?  I was was listening to WIP earlier and their poll was at around 80% wanted him fired - and the Eagles definitely tend to agree with their fans when it’s that high - they have in the past, anyway.

Tbh i like slowik more than johnson. I think it’s more impressive with the Texans are doing with a rookie quarterback, less than stellar running backs, and their all offensive line has been banged up for a good portion of the year. I’d add they lost one of their best players in Tank Dell and yet still look really good on offense.

I wish less time was wasted discussing HC candidates when Nick will be here next year. We should be focusing on the coordinator candidates on both sides of the ball.

Isnt Tomlin a defensive guy?

Id say john Harbaugh  is more a defensive coach than offense.

John Harbaugh is absolutely a defensive coach.  And yes, so is Tomlin.

Lurie will ask Siri the same questions he did of Doug before he fired him:  what are your actual plans to fix this?  Siri hasn't had a good answer and hasn't changed a thing this year other than swapping Patricia for Desai which actually made the defense worse.

Siri will probably give similar answers he has all year, and Lurie will hopefully see he's learned nothing and will fire him.

I just hope he doesn't wait too long and they miss out on coaches getting hired elsewhere.

Young coaches and Philadelphia don't mix well.

I actually like slowik more than johnson. I’m in the minority but what he did with a rookie Qb, rookie wr, Collins, a beat up offensive line much of the year and singletary as his lead back is really impressive. The lions are fantastic on offense too but they have one of the best olines, good WRs, great RBs.

We want an adult in the room who has experience and players will rally around.

Makes no sense for a winning team. They have never failed to rally around nick. We need scheme not rah rah bull ish.

plus a defensive head coach puts you in a constant state of needing an OC if you win. Sheil K has written alot on that. Any new Hc has to be on the offense

We need someone to hire away Brian Johnson because he'll be back too

Similar numbers last 3 years. He would be perfectly fine as a power back

Why should Nick stay? Can you gives reasons excluding the record?

He wont be back. But Id love him to be hired for those draft picks.

Slowik is from the tri-state area too. Believe he is a south jersey guy.
