He’s 3-5 vs Ohio State. They’re not going into Ohio and winning this year it would be best for him to go pro. Michigan is losing about 40 total players.

Yeah because Will Howard is gonna be tougher than Stroud and Harrison Jr..

Michigan is returning the strength of the team, their defense who will have 4 to 5 potential 1st rounders, but you tried to sound like you know what your talking about.

No team is better at developing 3 stars into NFL draft picks where Ohio has to have 2 of their top 10 recruits come back for senior year.

We had it last year but still not anyone outside of Brown and Smith

Yeah, but we certainly didn’t  have no one calling plays over the middle and surely didn’t have a QB throwing it there… even with the area being open, like last week.

Hey look at that a 3rd down blitz the o line picks it up the qb throws a hot route over the middle, basic football 101 something that the eagles seem totally oblivious of... 😒

Too. Predictable.

If eagles had run that once against tampa maybe were watching them right now ...

Just blows mind still that they never made such a simple adjustment.

Helps when the qb like goff just did stays in the pocket instead of rolling out tossing it out of bounds ...

One thing for sure is that we were by far the worse out of any of the team to make the play offs

Not sure the negative on that.   No one on this defense made picks, whether the ball was being tipped or not.

Gee... turns out you don't need to make it super obvious on a QB "Sneak" to be successful.  🤔

Is it a negative that he caught a tipped pass? No. Is it some play that should have half the board lamenting his loss? Of course not. It was just a typical play by CJGJ that wasn’t particularly emblematic of good safety play. It was simply fortuitous, as was the case for nearly all his picks last year. He has benefited greatly second hand from good plays of others or bad plays by others.

No worries.   It was obvious before the playoffs started.

Look at that... a pass over the middle... for a TD.  When was the last time the Eagles ran a play in the red zone that utilized that area of the field?

Veteran coordinators would be much less likely to jump to HC roles, so there would be some built-in stability there.  You might not get the highest upside, though

And with a team that has to get younger due to a Franchise QB contract kicking in, it would provide top down leadership that was lacking this season with Johnson and Desai.

So Devin White has been demoted to third LB? Not surprised. He’s almost as overrated as recent years Bobby Wagner.

Just saying. Watching all these playoff games and you see the #3 and sometimes #4 WR make plays on the field Quez could never. I bet the Bucs are missing Julio on bubble screens.

I think itd be great to have a QB who would even see a WR3 in progressions. If we had one Id be very badly wanting Ladd McConkey

Amazing how functional an offense van look against the Bucs crap team when one has competent coaches.

Still not sure why Siri has a job or what the eff Lowie is doing.

Lions are a solidly coached team, sure they have some talent but so do the birds and the eagles coaches wasted it, no reason eagles shouldnt be playing right now other than the coaches.

The lament is simple: they let him walk and failed to replace him.  He wouldn't have to be a 'good' safety to be a massive upgrade over what the Eagles threw out there this past season.   Below average would have been an upgrade.  I believe CJGJ would have been much better than what they threw out there.   Same as Epps.   Letting both walk was a mistake.  Same goes with White and Edwards.   Neither was a stud that was irreplaceable.  And yet, the Eagles failed to replace either of them as well.

AND, frankly, with how it ended, everyone is looking for ways to get it fixed for next year.   All they need is a little help on defensive personnel to be an upgrade, but we are looking for more than that.   Hence the need for a better scheme AND better than below average players.  Frankly, I'd put Edwards and CJGJ in the 'average' department.   I'd say Epps and White would top out at 'average'.

Everything that could have gone wrong, seemed to have gone wrong on this defense... and it started with the personnel decisions... exacerbated by the wrong DC hire.

Yup.   Simple crossing route... run a seam route every now and then.   Where were the slants?  Deep ins?

Both would have been upgrades over the dreck we put out there this year.  Not huge upgrades... but upgrades nonetheless.

Wow, that punt was absolutely boomed

In addition to the coaches, the Lions have a QB who is willing to stand in the pocket and deliver a pass.

hurts cant make it to his third read because hes bailing out to the right before that can happen.

And if we re-signed CJGJ, we’d be overpaying an average at best safety. You wouldn’t be happy with that either.
