Can't keep Patricia on this staff. Let the new DC decide on the positional coaches.

Desai had some good games with not a lot to work with, Patricia was awful every week and by years end was awfuler...😁

Desai was the DC, in title, through the end of the year.  Patricia assumed DC duties, but in the magical world of NovaCare, was never the DC 

He is/was only ever a consultant.  There’s nothing to even announce with him.

Chiefs in a world of trouble. their defense can’t get off the field and their offense this year isn’t equipped to get into shootout.

But in his defense….he took over and the players basically said "F this.”  They quit on him before he started.

1st Brian Johnson

2nd Patricia 

3rd Desai

That whole D checked out the day patricia was given a head set.

If Sirianni is staying then they better fire every single coach other than Stoutland and the special teams coordinator. Whole new defensive staff lead by a legit coordinator, new OC that has full control of the offense. Sirianni can just be a figurehead until he’s inevitably fired. 

Florio is reporting that several other teams (other than the Falcons) have interest in Bellichek. One of those teams does not have a head coaching vacancy. Hmm... Probably not Dallas since they announced Mccarthy is staying. Who else could that be, if not the Eagles?

I’d have said Buffalo could be that team if they lost this game to the chiefs.

Has a team ever fired a coach after winning one playoff game but losing the next game?

My theory on why Patricia is being made the DC is because it's Howie trying to save face of pushing the hiring of him and likely the move to havw him replace DeSai during the season.

They will not fire Johnson until they are 100% sure he will not be sighed as a HC. You really believe they would forfeit 2 third round picks and to not have to pay his king contract? 

 

BJ will be the last to go if they want to move on from him

Jets, Eagles, Bears, Saints, Giants, Browns seem like the most likely possibilities.

The Eagles aren’t hiring Belichik, but it would have been interesting to see what they did with Patricia if they did hire Belichik.

Idk but it would be the bills second consecutive year losing a divisional round game at home and really this chiefs team isn’t like years’ past. They should win this game. Frankly i think they do after watching the first 20 mins. Chiefs have no answers on defense. That said at some point your window is gonna close. Can’t keep wasting opportunities like they’ve had. I’d view it like dungy to gruden.
