Seriously. People take boos way too personal. It’s fun and Jason is clearly living it up in the moment like he’s Ted DiBiase.

Yup.  Kelce SHOULD be getting booed in Buffalo wearing Chiefs gear and partying after a Chiefs' TD like that.   And, I'm sure he's loving it.   It's all a part of the game and the fun around the game.   If someone started pelleting him with iceballs... that's over the top.   Booing?   That's expected and proper behavior for a home team crowd towards a fan of the opposing team acting like he was acting.   And I bet to a certain extent, he was acting that way in order to get that reaction from the Bills' fans.  (If he's still capable of that level of cognitive awareness.)

Feels like whoever gets to stop this half is gonna win the game.

Yeah why don't we get someone off of the spagnola staff?  Their defense has been excellent this year.

Last to possess the ball likely wins it.

I'd be very ok with that move.  I know, he's the golden child and no one can question him... but he's on very thin ice.   HIS philosophy for roster building is why the LB/S positions were thinner than single ply toilet paper.  There was no talent in the starting players at those positions, and even less depth behind them.

But, it would include Lurie backing of on his mandates.  For example, the way that this team has just grown allergic to running the ball through 4 different head coaches is not a coincidence.  He wants a high flying PASSING attack, rather than just wanting a good, consistent offense.  Well, the truth is, in this climate, a running game is going to be very important come the end of the season.  Having a running game enables you to dictate the flow of the game and how many possessions you allow your opponent to have.

I'd also like a new scouting department, one that recognizes the value in positions outside of the OL and DL... that might be able to identify WR talent in the draft, and might consider the middle of the defense worth investing in.   Oh, and have a philosophy where we stop overpaying for aging vets based on what they have done for this team in the past, and try to pay them based on their actual value in that year.

If Howie can change his stripes and implement some of these changes, by all means, let him stay.  But, he bears responsibility for these coaching issues, these personnel issues on the back 7 - ancient CBs that are falling off, with no one behind them, and a completely empty cupboard at the safety and LB positions.  Incidentally, I do not buy for even a second that Sirianni had autonomy to make the change at DC mid-season.  If a Super Bowl WINNING HC doesn't have that autonomy, why would a Super Bowl LOSING HC get that?

And, I'd like to see them hire a HC and then let him do his job.  And stop hiring guys that he (and Lurie) feels he can manipulate.

But it kind of works. He got the LB and safety spots just right in 2017. He had them looking pretty darn good in another super bowl last year. Any time he patches them up just right, youre a super bowl contender. On down years, theyre still a playoff team. Theres no one doing it better in the league. Hes the elite GM on a tier of his own.

Romo learned a new word.

Displacing.

That’s not late. Relax.

Buffalo is running it down KC's throat and the Chiefs have no answer.

I agree that it kind of works. We were legitimately one solid safety and one solid linebacker from being a completely different defense. The problem is that because of Howie's philosophy he thought the trash heap and two second year (and oft injured) players were enough to fill the gap he created bt letting everyone walk.

Yeah.  It kind of works... until it completely blows up in their face.

I'm not campaigning against him.  However, he needs to work on HIS deficiencies and blindspots.  He's not perfect.   And I'd say that the Chiefs' GM would qualify as being better than him.   Or does that not count because it involves Andy Reid?   More Super Bowl appearances, more Super Bowl wins... and this year while the Eagles embarrassed themselves down the stretch, the Chiefs are still very much in contention to go back to back with Super Bowl wins.   But, Howie is in a class by himself.

Howie has done a lot of good, and he's also had blind spots.

And it was wrong. And I was here fighting against LB being devalued before it was trendy to wish for good LB play. I hate the blind spot for LB on this team.

There is no perfect system for roster building. But theres also no arguing that Howies method hasnt been as successful as you could possibly hope for.

Josh Allen is on a heater.

Shakir got hands. He's made some real hard catches to keep them in this game.

Hurts never makes that throw.

Chiefs have Mahommes. And have been trending downward due to a blind spot at WR which is a huge deal. Theyve also had a weak overall defense for most of Mahomme's contending years.

Having Mahommes isnt a method or philosophy for GMs to adopt. Its just one lucky GM's reality.

Howie is better for longer.

1 play after Romo talking about Sneed not giving up a receiving TD this year the guy gives up a TD, can't make it up. Shakir is a nice weapon

The Eagles beat both these teams this season in back to back weeks.
