That ricks play was unreal

He looked like he was actually blocking for tampa...😒

Something about him - just haven’t liked his play all year.

I mean he is a rookie UDFA thrust into a role - shouldn’t expect much. But he played waaaaaaaay too many snaps this year for a supposed SB contender.

Another thing to note is one of the first things I noticed last night at the game is the general attitude of the Bucs vs the Eagles.   The Bucs came out with fire and passion, the Eagles came out completely flat.  Everyone on the Bucs sideline were into the game the entire time, cheering each other on while the Eagles sideline looked like a bunch of people that just got demolished - and that was early in the game.

The team came out with no heart and haven’t for weeks - it’s almost like they are expecting to lose and get beat out there.   Yes, Sirianni, without question, has lost the team.

Every Coaching job is a "what have you done lately" job. Look at Belichik and Vrabel. What Siri has done lately is show that he doesn't know how to choose or manage coordinators. Or perhaps even recognize that they are a problem. Coaches also have big egos. The opportunity to succeed and the overall functionality of the organization, I would say, is the bigger issue. A smart coach would ask "does the team have the talent to play in my system and succeed?"  That's the question rather than "people get fired from that org., uh oh." The exception is David Tepper. That dude is the next great NFL owner whack job.

Largely opinion, and honestly it's mostly unfounded opinion. People in the NFL at every level often talk about what's doing right for them and their families. The subject was about getting TALENTED coaches with OPTIONS, not about whether or not you could get a coach.

And while there's some 'what have you done lately', there's very different levels of that lately.

Add on top of that knowing that Howie Roseman has a vice grip on power in Philadelphia so it's nearly impossible to win any power struggle and there's tons of reasons to not go to Philadelphia if it seems dysfunctional. Tons.

Approximately 30% of the entire NFLs highlight package is an Eagle defender(s) whiffing on a tackle for a huge play.   It's incredible

That might be the ONLY throw between the hashes that this team has thrown over the last 8 weeks, maybe longer.

Yeah they were hard to watch last night

Ditto. I'm leaning Slowik, Johnson, Vrabel, Harbaugh in order.

I’m sorry, but I don’t know why anybody thinks Jim Harbaugh is going to come to the Eagles and want to be here without having player personnel decisions. That was one of the sticking points when he left San Francisco. He’s at Michigan and he controls everything. So if he’s going to leave Michigan he is likely going to take the Chargers job because he has Justin Herbert and they’re going to give them power with player personnel.

Yep.  Major, major issue.

The Spanos family is notoriously cheap, so will they pay what it takes?

Harbaugh to Chargers

Belichick to DAL (if not Quinn)

Same with BB. He will want his own guys in the GM/Scouting roles. Is probably bring Josh McDaniel with him to fix the OC issues he’s had. Falcons can accomodate all that.

4th and 5 at the 17, Hurts drops back to the 30 just to throw off his back foot. That was fun.

That's all but done. People can stop wishing for Harbaugh. Harbaugh loves him some Herbert. Herbert>QB1

He's been throwing off his back foot a lot this year

The team just plain and simply gave up as a whole. They gave up on the coaching staff and put in no effort last night. After such an embarrassment and the obvious "lost the locker room” I don’t understand how anyone can say that Sirianni needs to stay. It’s not about losing, but how they have lost these past weeks. It has been beyond embarrassing.

Maybe. But if I were Lurie hearing this I'd go down that route but with a better HC at the helm anyway.

Greg Roman developed a scheme that made Lamar Jackson an MVP -- he's out there

Mike Zimmer always had a very good defense in Minnesota until they lost the talent to FA -- he's out there

Neither of those guys would be exiting for head coaching jobs.  There's quite a few other candidates out there as well who are better coordinators than head coaches.

Wasters, or washers?

I can't stress this enough -- Sirianni and Brian Johnson are likely a package deal. It's Nick's offense that Brian is calling. You won't get a new OC to come in here and run an offense that was just exposed and universally dragged and mocked by national analysts. It would be career suicide.

For Nick to stay, he has to hire an OC that gets to design the offense. And a DC that runs the show. So Nick is basically a CEO and locker room leader. That could work if you find the right guys, but then you still have the issue of the OC being hired away if it goes well.

This is always and will always be the risk with hiring young head coaches. It's obvious they're going to have less cards to adapt to, and this means they'll often need help, barring being top 5. If GMs don't consider this, they are thoroughly complicit.

Wasters. Sirianni and his band of useless men.

That speaks absolute volumes and emphasises the point Sirianni needs to freaking be gone.
