You absolutely cannot call Tom Brady, Kobe, or Michael Jordan stoic. Sure they probably weren't going out and hosting social hour with their teammates but when it came time to play they were anything but stoic. They were fiery, especially Brady. Hurts shows no emotion in game. Every shot of him on the bench is him alone, doing nothing. Yea he does his little pre game speeches and then nothing.

And wanting to fix everything himself is not a positive thing. That's what makes him do stupid ish like go rogue with playcalling. If he had any self awareness he would ask for help, as anyone should. Just because you think a bunch of mongoloids will call him weak doesn't mean he shouldn't be asking for help.

It wasn't a huge problem when they're winning, because they were winning. But just because no one cared doesn't mean that it wasn't an issue at all. IMO it is a problem that he is always sitting alone doing nothing on the sideline, especially since there were a million reasons this season to be looking st the tablet after every possession. It's a big issue now because as this team spiraled, Hurts was still silent, still aloof. And as they were Fing up game after game there he was, just chilling. And then doesn't give a F after the season. "It's not our turn and I accept that" what in the actual F kind of answer is that

First, you cherry picked only portions. Second, stoic isn't the only word used to describe Hurts and now we're getting into semantics of were these other players "stoic?"  Some of them were grumpy on the sidelines, throwing tantrums, or being overly demanding of teammates. Hurts has been vocal during games. He's also been shown on sidelines smiling, interacting with players (recently he was seen arguing with Siri for example). Hurts has been shown walking around the sidelines hyping guys up in games.  You're taking a few times he was shown sitting on the bench and focusing only on that.  Do other QBs get held to such nitpicking standards? "Showing emotion" doesn't equal leadership. Sirianni shows emotion and passion and now everyone's criticizing him for being immature.

Hurts says a lot of things in post-game interviews where he's always trying to spin things positive and be hopeful about the future. Learn from the opportunity, etc. What do you want him to do? Rant and scream and throw a tantrum?  Part of being a leader is keeping control of your emotions.

Our fanbase nitpicks every little thing and runs with every narrative from the click bait media from week to week.  This same "report" said AJ Brown is a great leader and his teammates like him. Others said the opposite. Which narratives fans believe usually comes from bias.

My top choice would be Luvu but i don’t see anyway we pay him what he’s gonna get

I see Luvu as more of a pass rush specialist. Jewell is to me is just a solid all-around 3-down LB.

Bring back Gru-Dog!  Seems like he was always destined to coach here again.

Deontay Burnett, Jalen Reagor, Jordan Matthews, John Hightower, Travis Fulgham, Mack Hollins ,Nelson Agholor...and these aren't even his best plays. Carson Wentz had all the talent in the world. We were robbed of potential greatness with his injuries. I would have loved to see an Eagles team where Wentz isn't coming back from a broken back and concussion and he had AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith to throw to. I'd also love an OC to give us plays like that for Hurts.

Yea I picked portions I have issues with. And no it's not semantics, they weren't stoic when they were playing. They just weren't. And you know when you see hurts interacting with teammates? When they're winning. When they're not, what is he doing? Sitting alone on the bench. Why are there so many shots of him in game without the tablet, and not many of him with? The NFL production team is biased too? And nice straw man, sirianni isn't emotional and passionate he acts like a Fing clown and that's why people don't like his antics.

His post game interviews are a bunch of wannabe philosophical BS. Yea, I'd like something a little more substantial that shows he's actually disappointed and not "ope just wasn't our turn". Dude hasn't acted like he gave a F once in the last 2 months. It just looks worse that he's up and about when they're winning and he's doing well and sitting there stone faced when he plays like crap. But no point discussing further you're dug in, he can't be criticized. He's amazing

Losing sucks, but Foles playing like a HOFer for two games and holding that trophy high certainly makes it easier.

which still lead the league with the biggest penalty punishment. Offense has literally zero penalties anywhere close to the punishment of defensive penalties.

Incorrect. The closest example to the situation we have an issue with DPI not being a spot foul the other way is intentional grounding. D is about to make a big play for a sack and QB blatantly gets rid of the ball to avoid a negative play - the D gets 10 yards or spot of the foul whichever is more to their benefit. Same way if a defender is beat deep and makes a blatant penalty to avoid that negative play you have to give the O the benefit of as if that play was completed.

Now I agree that overall the league is tilted more to O and D, and there are things that can be done to fix that but DPI ain't it. The automatic first downs on a 3rd and long defensive hold is one for sure though.

Embiid with 34 points and 10 rebounds at halftime in just 19 minutes played.

This is just sick. Death threats? Seriously? It's a game.

Think hes been a little under the radar this hiring cycle with the Burrow injury and Bengals not being in playoffs but his work with Burrow, and more importantly having Jake Browning competing for a playoff spot is positive. Although its more Zac Taylor's offence, they may have found something here.

Mitch Williams had to leave baseball for a bit after the World Series loss didn't he? I for sure recall that he got death threats. And yes, that is sick.

He was kicking the FG to tie it though. Allen and his hero ball is why they lost
