Are you of the belief his 100 point game didn’t exist? Or because it wasn’t the 76ers?

Wilt had a few 70+ point games but I think they were all with the Warriors.

Now, if only we could have had Marc Zumoff call the game.

Loss of a down isn’t nearly as close as free first down. Make it an instant 3rd down and lost yardage and you’ll have an argument.

I was more talking about the yardage element to DPI - it needs to stay a spot foul. Intentional grounding is a spot foul.

Yea I picked portions I have issues with. And no it's not semantics, they weren't stoic when they were playing. They just weren't. And you know when you see hurts interacting with teammates? When they're winning. When they're not, what is he doing? Sitting alone on the bench. Why are there so many shots of him in game without the tablet, and not many of him with? The NFL production team is biased too? And nice straw man, sirianni isn't emotional and passionate he acts like a Fing clown and that's why people don't like his antics.

His post game interviews are a bunch of wannabe philosophical BS. Yea, I'd like something a little more substantial that shows he's actually disappointed and not "ope just wasn't our turn". Dude hasn't acted like he gave a F once in the last 2 months. It just looks worse that he's up and about when they're winning and he's doing well and sitting there stone faced when he plays like crap. But no point discussing further you're dug in, he can't be criticized. He's amazing

You're talking to me about a straw man then end with that?  And speaking of logical fallacies, what I said about Siri isn't a straw man it was a comparison of a guy who shows emotion to highlight that showing emotion in and of itself doesn't equate to leadership. Staying focused and not panicking, and performing on the field can be leadership too.

I've criticized Hurts his entire career when I think it's warranted.  Bad decisions, bad throws. His end of year press conference he went on way too long with these type of philosophical lessons learned, he should have kept it more brief. So your last point is not only the actual straw man, it's false.

Lots of QBs and players sit on the bench and rest, think, whatever. When they're losing, he might be pissed off and not want to talk to anyone. Lots of players can be like that, too. We've seen sideline shots of Kelce, Lane, other leaders sitting on the bench quiet and staring. Yet, no one criticizes them. Only the QB gets this kind of criticism. We're so quick to judge how we think athletes are supposed to act. Everyone has different personalities, ways they prepare, ways they react to reflect.

People liked Jeff Garcia because he was "fiery." McNabb joked all the time and smiled and people said he should be all business, more serious. Hurts is all business, more serious and now people say their QB should be going around hyping guys up.  Foles wasn't vocal, people criticized him for appearing too calm and quiet. People have different ideas about what being a leader means. Again, when they were winning none of this was a problem. He was praised for being all business.  When they're losing and most of the players are all frustrated and sitting on the sidelines sulking...only Hurts gets criticized? What do you want him to do, go flip tables over and yell? What does that do?

When the Eagles have these losing stretches all the opinions come out of the woodworks. Guys aren't allowed to have any hobbies or interests outside of football. They're not allowed to be humans who have a range of emotions. They're not allowed to have a bad or off day. They're not allowed to be anything but perfect in the eyes of fans sitting at home on the couch drinking beer and judging them.  How are you at your job? Are you perfect? Do you perform 100% of the time in ways that everyone would accept? Do you have methods or approaches that some people might disagree with? Does literally everyone at your job get along with you and agree with you on everything all the time? Or are there different personalities among co-workers that have to find a way to work together to get the job done?

You are completely ignoring Hurts rarely being seen discussing anything with coaches or other players. It just doesn't happen as often as it needs to. You DO see Kelce doing that, the entire line is often talking to each other after crappy drives while hurts sits there on the bench staring into the void. And again, Foles was not timid on the field. Not sure why you're not able to separate those two things. Yea quiet off the field, when the lights were on he was active and looked like he gave a F every second.

Your second paragraph makes no sense. What hobbies does hurts have that I'm criticizing him for? Watching paint dry? That's what he looks like every time he's on screen. It's not "a bad day" or "an off day". It's every single Sunday. Your rambling is completely irrelevant because at no point do I expect perfection, and at no point did I say that I did. Again, you're just making things up. And yea I'm pretty damn good at my job, and if I don't think I can do something i ask for help. If I can do something better my peers will let me know and hold me accountable, something this team clearly doesn't do or else they wouldn't have been making the same mistakes literally all season. Any more irrelevant points you want to bring up?

Hurts has a demeanor. You don't like his demeanor. You also don't know ish about how his demeanor plays into his success as a leader or QB. You don't like him as a QB, apparently personally or as a player. Good for you. To use Foles as an example the way you did is utter nonsense. Foles had an epic run to the SB. More often than those games, he was epically fading back under pressure and throwing in desperation off his back foot -- under retreat. Your memory is selective to prove your opinion and that's all this is -- your uniformed opinion. I recall Brandon Graham saying "you don't know Jalen Hurts like I know Jalen Hurts" to the other team when Hurts was about to come onto the field and win in OT. I trust Graham's understanding of leadership and football and he literally endorsed Hurts in a clutch situation. Yeah for drama! We need to make ish up to be "right" about something and at the end of the day, it is very likely wrong based on the body of work Hurts has put in. What job are you pretty damn good at? Does it include leading a group of men who have dedicated their lives to their craft, make millions of dollars and living in the fishbowl of professional sports. If so, I cede the table, it's yours. If not and you are good at a job in a normal workplace, you don't know what you are talking about. You are speculating and with bias because clearly based on your posts you don't like Hurts.

My last paragraph was in general about how fans like you will nitpick everything a player does. They're human, and how they lead or perform isn't going to be satisfactory to everyone. Some like that he's all business, some want him to "show more emotion." You're good at your job, but there are definitely people who disagree with you about things, who think you could do certain things differently. That's the point. Everyone is different.

What you're complaining about simply isn't true.  Hurts has been shown on sidelines vocal with teammates and discussing things with coaches. He's in pregame huddles hyping them up. He's been shown smiling on the sidelines and talking with teammates.  But if part of his process is at certain times to focus and try to shut out the outside noise, so what?

Lineally, it’s the Golden State franchise.

He brought up foles!! Lmfao and I don't understand why you're bringing up him throwing off his back foot??? You and NOTW are kings of irrelevance.

I'm in the navy leading a group of men and women who do a job infinitely harder than these dudes, so no it's not a normal workplace. I don't like Hurts's demeanor because it looks like he doesn't give a F. And I also don't care what any player has to say about any other one while they're on the same team. You think anyone is going to come out and say "yea I hate how he acts on the sideline"? These players are professionals, they won't badmouth anyone unless they've actually done something wrong. Guarantee there is a handful of players who don't like how Hurts leads. It's human nature. But thkse guys aren't going to come our and say anything cause you just don't do that

That's good, we have something in common. One of my bosses for a long time was an Admiral of the Pacific fleet. What I learned from him was that bailing on people doesn't lead to success. Most of those admirals come out of subs and as you know, you can't get rid of a person on a sub mid mission. You have to lead them in a way that gets the best out of them. So why are you so judgmental of Hurts based on his demeanor? You in the "we dump on guys from a position of uniformed judgment" leadership school of the Navy?

Because like it or not, perception is a big deal when you're in a leadership position whether that's in the military or the starting QB of a very passionate football team. Do you think when I have a bad day I go around sulking and not talking to my sailors? Just sit there and do my job? No, I don't. And I can't. Because if I do, it's possible a sailor sees that and thinks they can't approach me if they need something.

All due respect to your admiral boss, leadership is different for him. By the time someone reaches admiral they're so far removed from the deck plates it's a completely different animal. You're not leading sailors at that level, you're making policy. There are absolutely times that you need to cut bait on people, and those are difficult decisions.

I also don't know where that came from, at no point did I say anything about bailing on anybody. I'm saying hurts needs to realize the position he's in and act accordingly. Burden of leadership, you're the face of a billion dollar franchise, you need to outwardly act like you give a F

Hurts has a lot more positive traits than negative ones, but he does need to improve his sideline routine.  Those iPads are for seeing in real time what the opponent is doing and what adjustments they’re making.  Hurts needs to get with the OC after every possession to study this stuff and communicate.  Whoever the next OC is, that has to be a prerequisite the coach insists on.

Defenses also need to be using the same technology.  Not sure if the Eagles players use this stuff regularly, but other teams do.
