He has people skills. He’s good at dealing with people so the front office doesn’t have to. Can’t you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people??

His press conferences are a Fing train wreck.  Who the hell else is the idiot dealing with?  He brings nothing to the table other than he can be controlled.  Thats the only Fing thing he does.

Can anyone think of an example of a GM/Owner forcing a HC to fire his coordinators and it actually worked out?

I think we are in uncharted territory here.

I can't even think of a situation where the HC stayed, but both coordinators were fired.

To watch our whole run to the Super Bowl? Yeah, overall I enjoyed it, even if we did utlimately come up just short of another Lombardi.

Last year?  Week 10-SB was fun…before that was the same as our first 11 games this season.

I’m almost positive he did take back play calling, he just didn’t turn it around. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that around the time it leaked out Patricia was calling plays on defense the offense started struggling comparatively to the rest of the season.  Add the report the players themselves were confused who was calling plays plus the fact the offense looked just as disjointed and stupid as it did the first 7 games of 2021. It paints a picture imo.

I mean if he had balls he would have announced it is my point so that they wouldn't throw his OC under the bus. But here we are.

You have to think Howie and Siri have been looking at OCs and DCs before the season even ended. I would say Rivera and Kingsburg are their top choices. Caldwell was most like a rooney rule interview.

If those are the top choices Lurie should just sell the team.  That’s about as far away from the formula for success as you could get.

Kingsbury might be a better QBs coach than OC. The names he had worked with/ helped develop are impressive.

But he has a career losing record.

Oh no.

I don’t get all the Kings bury hate. He does a great job with QB development. Hell Johnny Manziel won a Heisman Trophy with Kliff. He coached Pat Mahommes at Texas tech Caleb Williams last season under Riley.

Hurts will flourish under Kingsbury

Definitely a scapegoat. This was Siri's offensive scheme, plans, and situational play calling. If Siri was worth his salt he would have officially taken over play calling and turned things around.

So by that notion it was also his last year when Steichen called the plays and the offense was damn near unstoppable. Sirianni should have been fired too for losing the locker room but anyone feeling bad for these coordinators who were horrible at their jobs and making them out to be martyrs are clueless. Yes, that's you homie.

Kingsbury was top 10 in 2020 and 2021 in rush attempts. His offense is made to spread out the defense and create one on one matchups for slants and crossing patterns.

Middle of the field Rushing attempts QB development won’t get poached for HC

He also works with Riley who Hurts played for and has a great relationship.

Maybe people should make a mat with all of the potential CONCLUSIONS as to why the season went wrong, and then they could JUMP to those CONCLUSIONS.

You COMPLETELY whiffed on his post bro. Obviously you aren't a straight shooter with upper management written all over him.

Most football fans are really stupid and lazy and think that because guys failed as head coaches they are bad coordinators. The fact of the matter is a TON of coaches are great coordinators and bad head coaches. I'm intrigued by the idea of bringing him in.

I didn’t think that it was needed, but i presented reasons for you fantasy football/box score watchers.

It's too bad demotions are not socially acceptable, in football or in other professional spheres.

Do some great work in a more focused responsibility, get a promotion with more broad, diverse responsibility...screw up...get fired.  Some of it is employee, not just employer driven.  The demotion usually comes from taking the smaller job with a new employer.  No one ever takes the demotion from the same employer.

Maybe BJ should be the QB coach.  Maybe Desai should coach our secondary.  None of these things will happen, but not everyone just sucks after a bad year after a promotion.  Mike Martz, Rex Ryan, Buddy Ryan...all coaches born to be coordinators.

As a fascinating contrast, look at Jeff Stoutland.  He could have gunned for the HC track if he wanted.  Some team would have hired him for an OC promotion merely for what he'd bring to their OL.  He is, don't forget, our "running game coordinator."  No one criticizes him when Gainwell was ahead of Swift on the depth chart, when they have bizarre RB utilization, when the running game peters out and is use more in RPO gimmicks than decisive downhill runs.  We just focus on all the probowl OL he has developed.  He must prefer the stability of doing one narrow job very well and not getting swept up in regime changes while climbing the ladder.

Go ahead and explain it for me.  My point is if LOWIE wants to call plays then get on the sideline and call them.
