Do we know when the press conference starts today?

I checked and it looks like an official time has not been announced.  Some peeps were speculating it might be mid day around 1 PM.

Beginning to sound like a broken record in here.

Seems like Sirianni is staying.  Stop complaining and deal with it.

If he doesnt turn things around right away next year then he'll be gone.

This is a message board.   People have every right to complain about the head coach, any time they wish, but especially after the horrific product we were subjected to over the last two months of the season.  They should definitely have a grace period for a coaching personnel decision that lasts as long as the crap fest we witnessed during the season.  Perhaps you could just deal with their complaints.

This is old news. Soap opera BS. Covey was intimidated by Hurts' aura lol. Sounds like a him problem.

I've heard this about most QBs.

I never understand these notions. So as fans on a message board we are always meant to think that all is good and rosy? And we are meant to just be happy and accept what we have? And we shouldn't voice our concerns or our issues even though a messaging board is a place to discuss and raise topics. I stand behind my view that Sirianni is not going to turn this all around and bringing him back is a mistake. And he may prove me wrong next year but he also may not. Doesn't change that I have those thoughts. Same goes with Howie. I am not at all convinced by him as GM but then he has produced 2 SB rosters in the last 6 years and has made the play offs time and time again during his reign. He tends to be good at times and then bad at times so maybe Sirianni will end up being similar.

Might as well go after Chimp Kelly now for OC too.

True. Perhaps WR6/Special Teams specialists around the league are intimidated by franchise QBs.

You think the Philly media is scared to ask questions like that?

Eskin said it was going to be a journalistic "food-fight" during the PC today. I take everything he says with a grain of salt, but I think with the way things have played out over the past 2 months there's going to be some tension during Q/A

You think someone will throw cheesesteak and Rita’s followed by a krimpet? Can’t forget the pretzel from Berman

Howie is the James Bradberry of GMs.

That comp is fantastic on point

Is it safe to assume all new position coaches or are we in line for a complete trainwreck of holdover position coaches (most who aren't even good) being here under new OC/DC? This has to be the most Eagles way of going about things I've ever seen.

Aaron moorehead should be in that group. He’s basically done nothing besides be given aj brown and devonta. Every other WR has gotten worse over time with him as Wr coach

Seeing a lot of names being thrown around for OC. I don't have a strong opinion on any specific one, but what I do know is that whoever they hire needs to have full autonomy with control of scheme and play-callling. A retread of Nick's scheme with another OC could be disastrous.

Hey, Joe Barry is available for DC!

He's been hot garbage. Not only has every other WR gotten worse but he's not once, or at least from watching games, coached up his group on how the hell to help Jalen when he's scrambling. Game after game, QBs on the run were able to find WR who were helping them by getting open on a broken play. I can't think of a single broken play that resulted in an Eagles WR getting open for Jalen Hurts. The results were Hurts tossing the ball out of bounds, taking a sack or trying to get it to Gainwell for 1 yard.

But... his roots go back to Indy, so he might be safe.

If bills are dumb enough not to retain joe Brady, I’d bring him in as OC. I’ve liked him back during our coaching search in 2021. Sadly see bills retaining him

I can’t wait til somehow quez watkins finds his way back into this roster at some point next year.

Could we just hire Dave Barry instead?

Eagles need to move on from Hurts ASAP if he is making Covey feel intimidated.

you know what I’m looking for in this press conference, the Eagles to say something stupid like quarterback factory, emotional intelligence or gold standard. They haven’t said something like that in a while. So I’m guessing they’re going to say something like that today.

The media haven’t asked one tough question all season. They’re not going to do anything but lob softballs to stay in good graces of the organization.

Seeing lots of speculation that this could be a reason for Carter Hart's leave. I haven't read anything that cements that but just a lot of people connecting dots.
