Would be kinda funny if nobody ever hires Belichick again and he's just short of Shulas record.

Oh God, that would be so awesome because it would eat him up inside forever.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Figured Eagles would interview him too.

Wasn't expecting that answer

I mean he maximized Goff and got to a SB. He has developed kupp, puka and their running game with Williams was really good this year. If you are more aggressive then mcvay and get the type of production he gets out of his offense when Stafford is healthy that’s a damn good offense

Have to think Atlanta wanted Harbaugh.

Once he signed with LA they decided on Morris for some reason.

Makes you wonder if some of these "hot coaching candidates" didn't interview too well.

Don't think Falcons were looking at any of the young guys.

Executives in Atlanta definitely valued their job and did not hire Billy B

Kind of a weird hire though.

Very weird hire for the Falcons.  They had all the prettiest girls at the dance lining up for them and they ended up going with a total hog.

Morris was a coach in ATL for 6 seasons.  They know what they're getting.

Kellen Moore flaming out at the Chargers is hardly a crime; you can say that the last person that flamed out of the Chargers and was hired by the Eagles did ok in the end.

As for Hurts; you can see where someone that worked closely with Prescott could help. And that person has motivation to do so.

Sounds like Mike Vrabel lost a power struggle with Ran Carthon in TENN:

"One thing we keep talking about here with our group is hunting at the same time isn’t the same as hunting together,” Carthon said. "And under Brian Callahan, we will be going out and hunting together.”

The Falcons passed on Bellichick for…*checks notes* Raheem Morris??!!

I got the impression that Arthur Blank wanted either Harbaugh or Belichick

Cowboys were better this year without him as well

Why Billy wasn't hired in Atlanta.

I’ve seen conflicting reports of that.

People say that but Cowboys had a great offense in 2021.  2022 Dak 5 missed 5 games

I thought Seattle would've been all over Vrabel

I would like to see them draft an OT but 3 picks in the back 7 would be good too.

One draft projection I saw - don't remember where - Had the Eagles going O.T. in the 1st  for a Lane Johnson replacement. I think the guy they were projecting was a start-as-a-guard move-out-to-tackle player.

Looks like Slowik will be shut out for 2024. Makes him IMO the #1 candidate for 2025 assuming the Texans remain solid.

I like Tyler Guyton. He played LT before moving to RT

I've told this story before but it bears repeating now.

Years back the NY Giants had a very successful head coach named Jim Lee Howell. He had an open door policy with the beat reporters and one day a couple of reporters dropped by his office. Howell had his feet up on his desk and was reading the newspaper.

"Whatcha doing, coach?" asked one of the reporters.

"I'm coaching," he said.

Howell turned offensive and defensive responsibilities over to his coordinators. He trusted them. It didn't hurt that they were Vince Lombardi and Tom Landry.

Well if Sirianni could get some coordinators of that caliber the eagles would be sitting pretty.😉
