I doubt he's coming back and I'm kind of happy because he'd be retiring at the top of his game. Not many players can do that

Yeah, I don't think he will either.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Stand up to who on the coaching staff?  Stouttland?  Sirianni?  If it's Stoutland then what the hell does that mean?  If it's Sirianni and that's a reason Lurie and Howie hired Moore then it's crazy how much they are emasculating Sirianni.  They are dancing a dangerous line that could lead to coaches and players alike walking over and not respecting Sirianni next year.  This year might just be a trial run for Kellen Moore to potentially be the next coach as much as it is a trial year for Sirianni to see if he can get things back on track.

Johnson was not logical. That was nepotism.

Let's block out the carnage of the 2023 season.  It's the offseason.  Steichen just got a HC job.

Our QB coach, BJ, oversaw a raw "he can't read" poor passing QB transition into an MVP candidate in 2022.  If he wasn't promoted to OC, it would have caused quite the stir.

I like this plus we have lots of draft picks I don’t feel like the sky is falling

Moore was one of my top choices. He has more to work with here than he had in Dallas, especially at WR and TE. I don’t kill him for the Chargers as that whole situation was dysfunctional under Staley. Plus, I would take Hurts over Dak and he made Dak look great.

When you have as many injuries as they had you're not going to do well. Some people think coaches should have top 5 units with backups because we won a super bowl that way. They forget every other injury plagued season we've had where we didn't go anywhere. A coach can only do so much with replacement level players

Didn't the Eagles interview Moore for their head coaching position when they hired Sirianni? HMMMMM

You need balance but Eagles fans are also a little too obsessed with running in 2023.  We have Aj, Devonta & Goedert plus whoever else we add. If the passing game takes a leap forward that's a major thing

Cowboys fans on their message board couldn't be any happier about Eagles hiring Moore.

One Cowboy fan did make an interesting point that it will be interesting for the Cowboys to play Moore twice with Mike McCarthy's job on the line.  There is a scenario out there that Moore does great with the Eagles offense next year, Cowboys fire McCarthy and then sign Moore as the HC.  That would be an annoying outcome unless the Eagles win the Super Bowl next year.

Cowboys fans laughing at anything is comedy in and of itself. They think that Moore was some fraud since he didn’t fare as well in LA. Dak choked in the playoffs that year BIG time.

Cedrick Wilson as a cheap option for WR3?

Dak always chokes in the playoffs. Even choked with Moore at OC. To be fair their offense did improve in 2023 compared to their last year with Moore.

Agreed, it's the same reason why the DBs were up in arms over Dennard Wilson's departure. They felt he was the logical choice to replace Gannon.

This is a great WR draft. I’d rather sign LB and S in FA and draft WR, CB, and DE in draft. Unless they make a big splash for someone like Burns in FA.

Yeah I meant Dak choked Moore’s last game with Dallas and their fans blamed Moore because they coddle Dak. To be fair we chastised Gannon  and he beat us at home in an embarrassing fashion.

Wilson is probably available at close to the vet minimum. Signing him doesn’t preclude drafting a WR too.

I don't think Gannon is a good coach though.  The Cardinals only won 4 games.  Not like their defense was the reason they won that game against the Eagles.  They won the game because our defense wasn't stopping anything.

Right the Eagles have 2 WRs and Covey on the roster.  Need 2 more guys at least

Yeah I’m not opposed to signing him but I’d prefer to draft a WR3 who can eventually slide into AJ’s spot and have Cedrick as a good 4. Basically don’t want them to sign someone like Cedrick and call it wraps.

Yep. He takes the role of Julio/Quez/Zaccheus. Rookie is the WR4 or inactive and Covey is WR5/PR

Every year multiple teams find solid number 3 WR's in free agency on reasonable one year deals. Maybe we could actually do that for a change.

It’s interesting to see how many different takes people, who I think are pretty highly regarded as analysts, have about Moore/Philly.

He's such a ****
