All I heard last year was taking a RB, TE, or LB early in the draft is a waste. The Lions are proof that if there is a top talent at a position of need then take them. Kicker and punter being the exception.

I don't think anyone thought LaPorta was a bad decision in the 2nd round. Campbell is still questionable for a 1st round LB.
