The linebacker free agent class is awful. After Luvu and Queen who will get vastly overpaid for what they are. They’re above average guys in an awful class. And after that it’s a bunch of older guys. I wouldn’t be shocked if they break the norm and draft a linebacker early this draft. They don’t take linebackers in the first round. But they will in the 2nd. Kendricks was a 2nd rounder. The 2nd seems like a major sweet spot for LB this year for them with two 2nds.

It’s not exactly a great LB draft either. Add on also a rookie to step in at linebacker and be good instantly seems like a mistake when pairing him with an unproven Dean who also hasn’t stayed healthy.
