You keep framing this in binary terms. "You pay him" vs "you don't pay him", conveniently ignoring the fact that incentive-based deals exist for a reason.

You keep framing it as he is going to take an incentive based deal when he has a contract already. He might say F you, release me i rather go to free agency and someone like the jets will pay me more than an incentive deal.

you seem to live in the reality he’s just gonna magically accept an incentive based deal. He still under contract, so do you want to restructure a guy who might be breaking down and hasn’t stayed healthy in two years and get stuck with him even longer or you think he’s gonna give money back to the Packers, even though he risked his health trying to play the last couple years? Hell no he’s not giving money back.

again will ask you, if the packers depth this year proved to have two viable starters at tackle so i don’t have to even pay or even rely on a guy who’s unreliable why would i bring him back? So the packers are gonna pull what the eagles did with peters knowing that bahktiari can’t stay healthy even though he’s talented. So throwing money away that could help out elsewhere even though their guys who were DEPTH guys heading into this year stepped and proved they could start.

Roster wise, I think the Packers are solid but not quite as deep as you'd like to see.

@e-a-g-l-e-s eagles!  ^This was the comment I made about GB's depth. You then twisted it around and claimed I said they had no depth at all. Put the strawman away and respond to the actual words, not made up ones.

If that's the case then the free market determines his worth, and if it ends up being more than GB can afford, that's indicative of something too.

And I gave you facts that they had better depth than you’re giving them credit for. and that you should be just as worried about the lions depth as they have a ton of guys who are free agents. also they literally had as many injuries as the lions (likely more) on offense and yet managed to finish one spot behind them in DVOA offense.

Show me once where I moved the goal posts like you have been doing...

Not really. They could afford him and restructure everyone else to keep him there. Instead they decided to go with guys who proved their worth as starter who started as depth guys this year and not rely on a guy who’s unreliable. And use the money they saved to help another position and be more reliable at that position

Much like you confused 2024 and 2025, you're confusing opinions with facts.

McAFee show last week.... they were "hearing" Vrabel to Seattle

Probably going to have get Brian Johnson to call plays for them because I don’t know who else Is out there at this point.

Good luck to them.

Clearly you haven’t done anything… but keep using emojis. What you do best.

Can't find any examples, huh?

So it’s not fact that lions have 30+ free agents according to spotrac . And those guys a lot of them are depth pieces. Those are opinions now. Lmao or the fact the packers had injuries galore on offense and yet still sustained 6th ranked dvoa offense. So it’s an opinion that jones, musgrave, watson and their oline had injuries and yet finished 1 spot behind the lions in dvoa offense

Which team has better depth is an opinion. You said verbatim, "And I gave you facts that they had better depth than you’re giving them credit for."

No i don’t care enough to go back and find where you did it. Cause you definitely backtracked on stuff you said

Oh ok, so just a gut feeling about what happened but no actual examples of it. Sounds about right.

Again i said they have better depth than what you are giving them credit for. The Packers had as many injuries (and to guys that were key pieces they were relying on entering the season) yet finished 1 spot behind the Lions in dvoa offense.

ok so before the season if i told you losing bahktiari for the entire year, Aaron jones for 6 games (plus left early in two games) and Watson for 8 games that the packers would be 6th in dvoa offense which was one spot behind the lions youd have believed me? Yeah you wouldn’t have. Their depth came through.

Yeah there’s definitely goal posts you moved when we talked. I don’t give a crap enough to play game of a gotcha moment on you.

Sounds like Cox is leaning towards retiring

Well if you can't actually find any evidence of where I did that, then maybe it's because it never happened.

Or maybe cause i didn’t go look. I know tough concept to know i don’t give a F to go back and have a gotcha moment. Cause that gets your rocks off doesn’t mean it does for everyone else. Have good night

Explains why he cleaned out his locker like that.

You have time to keep repeating the same point about the players for GB that got injured but no time to back up your accusation of me moving goal posts? Mmmkay.
