Sounds like Cox is leaning towards retiring

After the comments Jordan Davis made about him and Jalen Carter needing to step up I kind of figured that was going to happen. Good for him. He's made enough money and not everyone needs or wants to play until they are physically unable to.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

You have time to keep repeating the same point about the players for GB that got injured but no time to back up your accusation of me moving goal posts? Mmmkay.

Yup exactly…but those packers injuries are just opinons, not facts…

at this point I’ll just be replying to you in gif form. Have a goodnight

Looks like 2 of the core 4 will retire. I'm sure Graham will be back next season for his last ride. 2 left

Nothing says "I don't care" quite like posting 37 times in a row

I can see Cox being a mid-late season add on if we need depth there and are making a run.  Skip  the camps, skip pre-season, stay in shape and come back for a late season playoff push.

Will you two knobs just get a room and quit polluting the blog with meaningless semantic quibbles?

It's probably not a bad thing. Him and Graham have allowed Howie to kick the can down the road for too long at this point.

Since when did Randy Jackson start looking like a sickly Shannon Sharpe?

It’s been a while.

Edit:  NVM, he had gastric bypass surgery and type 2 diabetes

Skowik and Johnson both staying put this year is so clutch. Stays away from the nfc east and give us major options next year if Siriani sucks again. Best news we've had all week.

Can he squat 600 lbs like QB1?

Graham will probably get a one year deal worth up to 4 mil. What's the vet min nowadays?

Was gonna say he talked about his type 2 diabetes on the today show a couple years back. I wanna say he also said had a heart attack around 2009-2010.

Is Andrew Van Ginkel an option for us?

Sounds like there was a split in that locker room with guys who liked or hated Fangio. Wonder which side he was on - he was having a career year

Compiled a list of names I think the Eagles could have interest in in free agency

Cedric Wilson, Andrew Van Ginkel, Antoine Winfield Jr, Xavier McKinney, Easton Stick, Jacoby Brissett, Noah Fast, Jordan Hicks, Josey Jewell, Lavonte David

and DeAndre Swift as an own FA

Can he tackle though?

I remember someone on the Pat Mcafee show who likes the Dolphins complaining about him not being able to tackle a cardboard box.  This was a couple years ago.

Idk if Howie goes after David unless he’s one of 2 guys they bring in. He’s 34. I don’t think you can go and expect David to play 17 games. He missed 2 this year. They tried with Cunningham who was 29 (updated) and he didn’t make it through. Granted David is still better than Cunningham but i don’t see the eagles seeing a 34 year old LB as the viable solution. Hypothetically I could see it if their solution was something like sign jewell and they want another veteran who would take a 1 year deal to try and win a Super Bowl. Then you’d have depth of jewell, Dean and David

Patrick Queen. One of Winfield or White will get tagged by TB... I'm assuming

Based off reports from Tampa white is gonna hit the market. Apparently lost his job to kj Britt so it’s likely Winfield jr

https://www.tampabay.com/sports/bucs/2024/01/30/baker-mayfield-mike-evans-antoine-winfield-nfl-free-agency/?outputType=amp

Among the other unrestricted free agents is linebacker Devin White, who wound up losing his starting job to K.J. Britt and was seeking $25 million per year as a free agent before the season started (Spotrac now puts his market value at $10.7 million annually). Don’t expect the Bucs to attempt to re-sign White.
