Apparently Tom Brady is replacing Greg Olson on Fox. They gave him a 10-year, $375 million contract.

Thank goodness.  Olson was annoying.  Hopefully Brady will be less annoying.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan either.  But I've never heard anything out of Brady's mouth to suggest he's a master orator.

Mind-blowing that people think he's good. Just whines and talks too much

Olson is great.

It's great for Texans that they're able to keep some coaching staff but kind of annoying since we've had to go through it multiple times

To be fair we more often lost guys after SB appearance.  This year it doesn't seem like that will happen to SB teams but they've both lost numerous guys over the years

What’s this AJ Brown trade rumor bs all over my Twitter this week? What is Jakib sports?

Trading AJ Brown would be the single dumbest fing this this team could do

Yeah I think Olsen is one of the better color guys out there

This I don’t understand.  Let Embiid get 100% healthy, even if it takes a few weeks.  (Who cares if he doesn’t qualify for MVP, that’s not the reason he’s in it and his window of opportunity closes every passing year)

In the meantime see what you have with the rest of the team and if needed, acquire another piece or two and see what happens when Embiid is back for the playoff push.

A bunch of nonsense started by a WIP fan poll.

Not to me. His pleading, whiny tone is the most grating style in the business

Since this is a KC/SF Super Bowl can I assume Thom Brennaman is handling play-by-play?

I wish Romo was replaced. He got popular by predicting what the offense was going to do but that doesn't work just as much as it does work. He also sounds like he's drunk or something. He'll do these awkward long pauses while speaking too

MNF commentators suck too

I agree, Romo sounds punchy

Question for the board...

Devonta Smith, Landon Dickerson, Josh Sweat, and Haason Reddick have one year left on their deals (ok fine, Devonta has the 5Y option).

They're not keeping all those guys, right? Who goes?

Smith and Dickerson should be the priority for the team.  I think they will keep both of them.  Reddick may just want more money than the Eagles can pay but I don't think he's going to command a lot on the open market.  So I could see him coming back on a team friendly deal.  I don't think he's going to be that as he ages.  So it's possible a team friendly deal will seem to be too much.   If Sweat is productive next season, he's going to be too expensive to keep.  I think he's likely to be gone.

I think he's awful.

Does anyone actually like any color commentator? It seems like I only hear complaints from fans.

Couldn’t stand him from the jump. He’s Fn annoying, even without the vocal fry

Yes but it's like watching the game. When they're good I don't notice or remember the names but when they suck I look for the name

Imo ,  Guyton has been the best tackle so far at senior bowl practice

I prefer aikman and Romo

I really liked when Keith Jones was doing color for Jim Jackson but Bouche hasn't brough the same energy. I can't think of a broadcast team I like for the NFL.

I loved CBS's SEC team of Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson.

Aikman is the gold standard to me. Credible, insightful, economical, charismatic.

I generally watch games on mute if Nantz or Collinsworth are involved, but I'd say I like more commentators than I dislike.  I like some of the unpopular guys like Charles Davis and Mike Golic.  If I'm listening to Westwood One both Kevin Harlan and Ian Eagle are both really good on play-by-play -- although hearing Harlan describe a pass as a "line drive" irritates me some.  I like both Buck and Aikman, don't mind Romo at all (but since he works with Nantz, I don't hear him anymore).

Of course being older I miss the older guys not around anymore like Summerall, Enberg, Don Criqui, etc.
