Looking at the WR class it's hard not to notice the top of the board has mostly tall, fast WR talent.  Harrison, Odunze, Coleman, Franklin, Legette, Brian Thomas, Mitchell, Devontez Walker, and Rice are all 6'3 and 6'4.  WR3 is certainly a spot worth improvement.  Some AJ Brown insurance could also be prudent.

Most of the needs are on defense but you also have to look at the value of the draft.  Getting a WR who has a chance to be a stud on a cheap entry level deal is always good cap management.

I think they’ll address WR in the 3-5th rounds. If they take a WR in round 1-2, i think there’s a strong chance that one of Aj brown or smith aren’t going to be here by the end of 2025. Brown needs an extension on his deal cause his cap number in 2025 and 2026 jumps to $26 mil and $41 mil. Smith needs an extension as his 5th year option takes him through the 2025 season. If you are drafting a kid in the first or second round then I’m guessing they believe he’s likely a replacement for one of them cause by 2026 that kid if he’s worth the pick is gonna need an extension. Not going to be able to pay 3 WRs. Add on if you take one round 1 or 2 there’s only so many balls to go around. At some point to maximize that pick he’d need to get more targets and more snaps.

jmo if they take a WR in round 1-2 i think it speaks to the future of one of brown or smith being here long term.

I'm looking to replace AJ Brown for 2025 and beyond.  I see DeVonta Smith as an Eagles player long term; I definitely don't have that feeling about Brown.  I see a very strong chance 2024 is his last season in Philly.

kind of have the same sense for aj brown and 2024. It’s why i don’t think taking a WR is off the board in the first or second round. Watching those interviews i think he knows that the eagles aren’t keeping him in 2025 and 2026 at his two current cap numbers so if an extension doesn’t get done to lower those that there’s a good chance this might be his last year in Philly.

What does everyone think of Darius Robinson?  Seems to be killing the Senior Bowl

Rattler looked sharp throwing  , he’s the type of QB I take a flier on , Milton another, big time talent who needs 2 years of learning

Agree with the AJ plan in general but thats why i am taking the big wr next year

I still can't believe we most likely have to watch the Phillies wear that garbage.

What’s this AJ Brown trade rumor bs all over my Twitter this week? What is Jakib sports?

Trading AJ Brown would be the single dumbest fing this this team could do

A YouTube channel I’ve seen and quickly disregarded.  Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but they seemed click-bait-ish.  I know they all are to some degree, but I got the impression more with these guys.

F WIP.  So disgusted in them manufacturing a BS rumor and of course it instantly gets to AJ Brown.  The sports media in this town is the absolute worst.  And of course you had Ike fighting with people all day on twitter trying to defend it.  I'm so over that garbage station.

Not saying this necessarily means anything. But these are softball questions and weird responses.

He has been with the organization long enough to know how much of a snake Howie is and all the leaks that come out of the organization and how they try to put stuff out there to make certain people look bad and protect others.

Milton is 2 years from being 2 years away

Trading AJ Brown would cost us 22M in Cap space pre June 1st. It would save us 2M post June 1st. While it was obvious it won’t happen, it won’t happen.

such a stupid rumor😂😂

This wouldn't surprise me. I'd take him as a DC but never as a HC.

Pretty sure Howard is right about this one.  There’s a history of dislike between the Eagles brass and Belichick that dates back to the Reid era.

Depends. DGunn is on there for whatever reason and still is credible and still breaks news. Everyone else on there like Sileo really drag his reputation into the mud though.

Where are those rookie OTA highlights that everyone was getting excited about?

There’s no questioning Belichick’s coaching ability.  The factors limiting his appeal is his expectations of having complete autonomy in a new organization at nearly 72 years old

Yep. Belichick is a good coach but an awful Fing GM. That's really what it comes down to.
