Lol, Schefter careying water for Bienemy’s agent. The guy didn’t even get an interview. No reason to even include him.

Yeah.  I'm a little disappointed he didn't mention me in this tweet.   I also did not land a HC job during this hiring cycle, and I had just as many interviews as Bieniemy did.   He seems biased against me for some reason.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

With Quinn out in Dallas, the Cowboys trying to keep Whitt as DC and Scott apparently staying in Seattle...

See if Al Harris wants to leave Dallas for the title of DB coach and passing game coordinator?

Happy for Dan Quinn. Had a bad end to this Falcons run, responded by being a top 3 DC for 5 years to get another shot.

A risky hire for Washington though. A defensive minded HC and no franchise QB is not a great combination.

Is there any context to this? Are guys just putting in 2 days of practice and not playing in the game?

You'd think Washington would know that already.  Ron Rivera was (is?) a good DC, but he was just mediocre as a coach.

Still, I think Quinn is a good hire for Washington.

They will have a franchise QB after the second pick in the draft.

They have the #2 pick in this year's draft.   They will have their choice of practically any QB.  And if they really wanted Caleb Williams, and they wanted to ensure they get him (if the Bears choose to pass), they can flip picks with the Bears and ensure they get the guy they want.

It will be interesting to see what they do.

Commanders 4th choice 🤣🤣🤣

It might work out, but it feels like Quinn was the best possible outcome for us Eagles fans.

Let's hope he doesn't find himself another Kyle Shanahan this time.

No. We gaslight ourselves into thinking Andre Dillard was a massive coup.

Not all of us did

I see holding penalties in the future with Fagau if he don’t clean it up , lots of grabbing during his reps

Five of the eight HC hires were defensive coordinators. One other was Harbaugh. So only two OCs got HC jobs. That’s interesting considering recent trends.

It's almost unprecedented for the past decade or two, isn't it? I can't remember a similar hiring cycle like this in a while.

Vrabel not getting any real looks at a HC job is interesting since so many jobs were filled by defensive coaches and a CEO type in Harbaugh. He really struggled to find an OC after Arthur Smith left. Maybe that hurt him. I don’t know what kind of upside he has as a head coach, but he’s pretty solid.

Both him and Belichick getting completely shut out is wild. Didn't see that coming at all.

Belichick being shut out didn't surprise me.  He's old, and he's a guy that is just curmudgeonly.  And hiring him, you have to be willing to do it his way 100%.

I am more surprised about Vrabel.

Some are hurt and some played well enough that their agents told them to shut it down.

At least with the Washington opening, their new GM worked with Ran Carthon in SF. Carthon apparently clashed with Vrabel this year. That likely eliminated him from contention in Washington and some other places.

Was that the same year we landed on the moon?

So 4 out of my top 5 candidates will be available next year:

Johnson

Notes from video:

Tyler Guyton sounds like the kind of guy to get really in to a game of RPS with Siriani. He might be the pick at 22. The way these guys talk about the competitiveness, and emotion that he plays with screams eagles draft pick.

Powers-Johnson a big winner.

Fiske looks really quick at DT.

Darius-Robinson is gaining a lot of buzz to where these guys think he can go in round 2. I like him a lot as a developmental guy who is huge and powerful, but I hoped round 4 for him.

Roman Wilson is unguardable.

McConkey and Pearsall mentioned as the best route runners.

Ali looked like the best of the RBs because of his burst.

Payton Wilson shows his experience.

Quinyon Mitchell does not press on tape and when he puts his hands on people at the senior bowl "they are stuck in quicksand." Attitude borders between very confident person and Chauncey Gardner-Johnson. Pretty much the attitude you want and expect in a top CB. Said he conducts himself similarly to Witherspoon last year. Might be the 1st CB taken.

Cam Hart has stood out. Big, physical, has played the ball really well.

Max Melton has been one of the top GPS measurement guys this week.

Sione Vaki, a safety got some reps at RB.

Jalen Simpson, CB converted to safety showing coverage instincts.

Stock down:

Braswell has not flashed in 1 on 1s as expected.

Leggette hasnt really impressed a lot, which is tough after measuring in much shorter than advertised.

Calen King not doing well. Trending towards nickel CB.
