Prior to the senior bowl what I see from him is a power only player with very little pass rush moves.

He shows alignment versatility, even standing up despite his massive size. Really exciting.

But he looks pretty limited as a rusher right now. So I definitely had him as a mid-round developmental guy with starter potential.

I had him a late second early 3rd , he can play anywhere , rush the passer good and stout against run , 6 ft5 300 34 inch arms , ripped like he’s 220

i have no problem taking him early rd 2 , 43 or 34 , he played in a 34

Rice seems slow to beat press. Maybe thatll be his big weakness that held back production and has him as a mid round guy. But Id be shocked still. Too big and fast. Too much promise to not go in the 2nd or early 3rd.

Ricky Pearsall, McConkey, and Roman Wilson as easily the best WRs there, but a lot.

 

On the other team, Leggette seems to struggle to get open, and body catches his passes. Thrash continues to get open. King continues to get beat.

His physique will be tempting for NFL teams, coupled with the fact that he looks unstoppable on power rushes, and will play the run well right away. In the NFL, all power all the time wont be enough to beat OTs consistently. He will have wins for sure. But he will need some time to develop some moves to reach his potential.

I like him and I wont argue if the team takes him higher than I expect. I do think he can play as a rookie and contribute. But as of now Id still take Braswell higher based on tape. Keeping in perspective Braswell looked like a good player in real games, while Robinson looked like a developmental player with some impressive wins, who has a physically dominating physique made for dominating 1 on 1 practice reps.

Is Elliss at the senior bowl, from Utah? Hes another power player who mixes in a fantastic spin move. Really like watching him.

I wasn't blown away by Dylan Laube. He looks fine, I don't think he sucks. I think he's really versatile. Seems to be missing that top gear though. A poor man's McCaffrey without the breakaway speed. I'd rather just keep Swift than spend a 3rd rounder on a back tbh. This team has so many holes to fill. Depends on who's available though obviously.

Theres no choice between Swift or Laube.

Laube is like a Scott replacement, or mayybe a RB2.

Keeping Swift, AND drafting Laube in the mid rounds would be the plan.

2 different draft podcasts covering senior bowl mention how vocal JT Bertrand (sp) one of the Notre Dame LBs is. Brugler is talking about his leadership, and the PFF guys said how vocal he has been.
