I still think long term TJ Tampa is the CB I prefer overall

I like Tampa a lot in R2.

Lol, Schefter careying water for Bienemy’s agent. The guy didn’t even get an interview. No reason to even include him.

Schefter's Tweets are beholden to the Rooney Rule as well.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

Have liked Bullard's game all through his college career. He's a day 1 plug and play slot CB IMO.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

You know the pro bowl has become a joke when Gardner Minshew is who they have bring in to fill out their roster.

Tampa sounds like a great match for our scheme playing off the LOS and having the burst to play the ball in front of you.  But can also flip hips and run.

I said it the other day , but I really like Estime , that said the way the league values RBs , he won’t get drafted until day 3

Nah, by comparison Minshew was deserving of the honor.   Look at Tyler Huntley, who made the Pro Bowl in 2022 after just FOUR starts.  He threw TWO TDs and THREE INTs.

At least Minshew started 13 games, had a positive TD-INT ratio and exceeded 700 yards passing.   Such a pathetic joke of a mess the Pro Bowl is.   Least meaningful All-Star game of any sport... which is a tall feat.

Yes, he's very strong in zone and off-man. And he won't get burnt deep with his stride length and wingspan. He's a solid grab at 50 or 53.

Better than last year when Tyler Huntley went, at least.

Him and Hart are likely the best options if we don't land one in round 1.

Didn't realize Huntley made it last year, after only 4 starts. That's even dumber.

Not terrible, definitely better than what we had. He doesn't bring much speed to the position though. I'm only lukewarm on this idea.

Most definitely.  Only appeared in 6 games.   ~650 yards passing!

We finally have 2 top receivers after how many years and media wants drama so they suggest we trade 1 of them

It's not like either of them had bad years or contributed to the problems on offense.

Depends what he wants and what the plan is for Smith. No way they give Smith a huge extension, still have AJ Brown on a $100M deal AND give significant resources for WR3. We'll probably be in the FA bargain bin and draft a guy.

happy about dan quinn :P

Yeah bout to pay Smitty... likely a rookie and a cheap vet FA are on the horizon

I’m assuming they draft someone round 3-5 and sign a cheap veteran who’s trying to win a SB.

I know the blog is obsessed about upgrading the 3rd WR slot but I think it's a misuse of resources.  Even if a 3rd WR took all of the targets from Quez, Julio and Zaccheus, you're talking about 36 receptions on 60 targets.  Boyd had 81 targets last season.  I just don't think adding a more talented 3rd WR is going to change the amount of targets.  If you use Boyd's catch percentage and yards per reception replacing Quez, Julio and Zaccheus, his production would be 40 catches for 448 yards.  I just don't see the value added given the investment.

They 100% need to find a reliable WR3. Bringing in a guy like Tyler Boyd is silly. Like you said, it's all about the targets. Boyd averaged 65 catches/year with the Bengals.

Zaccheaus had 10 catches in 2023. Zach Pascal had 15 in 2022. Until they change how they use WR3, bringing in a top veteran doesn't make sense.

I think Van Jefferson is the perfect WR3 to bring in and then add some juice in the draft.
