Goedert has had some bad drops pretty much every year, and is oft injured.

He was also underutilized, and misused this year.

Some people overrate him and talk like he is special. I think its very few.

I dont think he is really over-rated. I think he is a TE who is good enough to put up big stats when given opportunities.

Hes certainly not a HOF type of talent like a Gonzalez or a Gronk.

To say he needs competition is definitely underrating him to a criminal degree. Thats kinda ridiculous.

They definitely need a TE2 though.

There is something wrong with Caleb Williams’ psyche and I do not think he will be able to handle the NFL

This former scout does a great job breaking down what he feels are red flags with Williams, even going as far as saying Williams is the most mentally fragile player he's ever seen. This is what I've been saying for some time too. He's an extremely talented QB, but does he have the mental makeup to handle the ups and down of the NFL, especially if he's a #1 overall pick who doesn't win right away.

Which FA do you think is a must sign this off-season and why?

Why do i keep hearing Kelce is the greatest TE of all time now?

I'd rather put Gronk in that category.

Travis Kelce's stats are unreal. They are more WR than they are tight end.

That’s because he’s more WR than TE. That’s also a big reason why people in here  say Goedert is and has been overrated. They have a tough time understanding the value he brings as a two-way TE. Goedert hs been a top 5 TE in the league. He probably isn’t that now, but he’s really good. He’s the rare complete TE.

He weirdly reminds me of Lavar Ball. Just insane comments and stories about him, and nothing reassuring in between

He's never started a full season and his averages are 598 yards and under 4 TDs a season.

People in here had him as the third best TE in football, hence, overrated.

Overrated doesn't mean terrible, let's try to remember that.

Patrick Queen or Frankie Luvu for obvious reasons. Sign them both.

Eagles had prime Celek and drafted and developed Ertz to eventually take over. They had prime Ertz and drafted Goedert to develop and eventually take over. I don't see what's ridiculous about brining in a better prospect than Jack Stoll to develop especially since Goedert is already 29.

I think we’re in or approaching the window of drafting his eventual replacement. Too bad this year’s draft class isn’t close to last year’s.

If he hits the market, Antoine Winfield Jr...hands down. It eliminates S from being such a high priority in the draft. He's a top 5 S, arguably the best S, in the NFL. Also, versatile safeties are paramount in Vic's scheme.

I don't know if Winfield hits market but Howie has shown a willingness to spend on FA S's moreso than LBs

I don't think WInfield will ever get to free agency. He's sure to be tagged if they can't come to a deal.

To an extent. I'd love to have Winfield but he's likely going to be the highest paid S in the NFL once he get's his deal. I think he's going to be way too rich for Howie to be comfortable with.

I would think Winfield , Evans , David and Mayfield would be getting new deals in Tampa

I wouldn't consider Winfield realistic if they didn't offer Marcus Williams a big contract. I think that showed they're willing to splurge if they think you're elite and only then. I also think it would depend on how much Fangio vouches for him. If Fangio pounds the table for him, I think it will hold weight. I think they'll value his input like they do Stoutland.

Not FA but extending Smitty sooner than later would be great.

Spotrac assesses Winfield's market value at $18.4M per.  Frankly, I'd rather have Xavier McKinney at a $10.4M assessed value per.

Who? Because I have never seen anyone argue he is in that top elite tier. If anything, I regularly see people saying he is just outside that.

You say overrated doesn't mean terrible, yet you reference his stats to point to his performance.

Nobody is claiming he is the 3rd best TE, nobody is claiming he is irreplaceable. There are many other players ahead of him on the overrated list.
