Never heard of it but will have to check it out.

....Which reminds me:  The Hotel Transylvania movies.  Really didn't like them on first watch but with having a toddler and seeing them about a dozen times each they grew on me a bit.

It's a Netflix movie came out about 3 years ago.

Decently funny. But full of great fall/Halloween scenes on set that really set the mood for the season.

Sounds more like recency bias than him overcoming anything.

Or clinging to the injury prone label he had 5-6 years ago at the start of his career. And ignoring that he played in 97% of his games the last 4 years and 100% in the last two. 3 or 4 years in the nfl is an eternity. Which given his position the amount of games he’s played is considerably high. Whereas goedert his first two years of his career played 97% of his regular season games (31 of 32). Whereas the last 4 he’s played in 77.6% (52 of 67 regular season) and the last two he’s played in 76.4% (26 of 34 regular season games) as compared to 97% and 100%.

Health wise and injury prone status they are going in opposite directions as their careers have continued.

What do you think of Mims overall. Potential RG that could slide into RT at some point?

He is on my short list. Wish he had more experience but if he did i suspect he would be out of reach

Those LBs know ball.

Remember that dude that stole over $20 million from the Jags?  Apparently he lost almost all of it on FanDuel

Best part of the article:

ESPN previously reported that Patel played daily fantasy under the username "ParlayPicker" and was believed to have racked up big losses playing against elite competition in contests with buy-ins upward of $24,000.

One veteran daily fantasy player told ESPN on condition of anonymity that they believe ParlayPicker is "the biggest loser ever on FanDuel."

"He was legendarily bad," the person said

Actually had this conversation with my friend last week what would your top 5 Adam Sandler movies be:

mine was

1. happy gilmore

2. Billy Madison

3. The waterboy

4. Hustle

5.  Anger management

i know others will have Spanglish and punch drunk love on their list.

I thought he was terrific in Uncut Gems and put that on the same level, if not above Hustle. Not his top movies, but I always enjoy The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates, Mr. Deeds, Airheads, Just Go With It and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. He has the ability to make stupid comedies that you can just sit and enjoy. The Grown Ups movies are fun watch and Hubie Halloween was unexpectedly a fun movie. Kudos to Sandler for always casting a bombshell as his love interest.

In no order, top 5

Billy Madison, Uncut Gems, Hustle, The Waterboy, Happy Gilmore.

Same.

Hubie Halloween is tops for me.  I've never cared to watch any of his movies more than once but that is now a classic to put on each Halloween season in my house.

Hubie Halloween came out over Covid and it was just a really simple/stupid comedy with Sandler and his buddies that lightened the mood quite a bit in comparison to everything that was going on. I really enjoy watching it every Halloween now.

Don’t get me wrong I like uncut gems. It just wasn’t my cup of tea to say that was his best movie. I thought his acting was fantastic good for the role he played. But that whole movie didn’t do it for me like it did others.

It's not what I typically go for either, but his role was played so well and showed a side I wasn't expecting. I was so used to the bro comedies that I love so much.

I'm not a sci-fi guy at all but this looks like another role that will showcase him as more than a comedian.

I’ll have to check out that one when it comes out. looks like it could be really good and off script from what he usually has done.

He can still score but not a great 3 point shooter and most of his points come from FT area which is where Embiid does most of his damage

3. Happy Gilmore

4. Waterboy

5. Click

I was going to say that’s my boy isnt one of his best but it is pretty funny I think the cast that they had helps a lot. Like I was totally not expecting vanilla ice to be a main character in that movie or Rex Ryan to have the role he did.

I couldn’t argue those were really good movies. I love anger management cause of that Philly fan but also think Jack Nicholson does a great job in that movie.

Uncut Gems is probably my favorite Sandler movie with Happy Gilmore.

Just seems like your use of 4 years as the cutoff was a bit arbitrary because the 3 years prior painted a much different picture. That's why I said you should look at their entire career, to avoid ignoring any years which aren't as convenient to the argument that he's not injury prone.
