I can't wait for Jalen Hurts to return next season, not only with a MVP but a Super Bowl win and silence all the rat haters crawling out of their rat holes just letting it all pour out.  All of that hate they have been letting just build up.

Even if he’s not an MVP candidate every year I’m okay with having a top 2-7 QB for the next 10 years and not have to worry about the position.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

Kellen Moore getting Jalen Hurts out of Sirianni's clown offense will the be best thing to happen for Hurts.  Not sure if either coach is the answer going forward but putting Hurts in an offense that actually treats him more like a NFL QB will only unleash him more.

I would just like to not dress 4 RBs to run the ball 2x a quarter. I didn’t know that was a lot to ask for.

It would be a bonus to use the middle 40% of the field in the passing game too. Especially in the places where all of the linebackers vacated to blitz.

Hurts will have to really work on his pocket awareness.   I think with Kellen the RPO game will not be emphasized.  I hope Hurts works with a QB guru this off season.

All you need to know about Desai's schematics is watching both Washington games back to back. Bienemy killed him in the 1st matchup, so Desai's response in the 2nd match was to do essentially do the same thing.

Guyton will be a common pick in a kind of lazy way

Its logical for long term need and consistent with their strategy of investing in the lines. Guyton would be a fine pick at 22

No it wasn't. One show did a hypothetical scenario "Would you trade AJ Brown for Patrick Surtain?"

It was social media that took a hypothetical trade question and turned it into "There are AJ Brown trade rumors!"

A fun hypothetical question is not a rumor.

Not sure what’s been going on with WIP lately but man, they sure have been taking the low "clickbait” road.  Pretty sad, tbh.

This is going to sound out of left field and I'm sure many will roll their eyes but hear me out.

The Eagles have a potential logjam at Center and RG if Kelce comes back. This is a very deep draft for Center. They've already drafted their Center and RG of the future in Cam Jurgens and Tyler Steen.

If Kelce comes back, their heir apparent, who they spent the 51st pick on is going in to year 3 playing out of position. Jurgens wasn't bad at RG, but it's clearly not his best position and he was the weakest link of the OL.

They spent a high 3rd round pick on Tyler Steen to be the RG of the future. It could be argued that he could be a tackle, but Steen has the size the Eagles want at RG being 6-6 325.

Cam Jurgens is 6-3 303 and I wouldn't be surprised if he finished the year closer to 290. There's a good chance they had Kelce and Jurgens both playing sub-300 lbs. That's just not going to cut it in the NFL. Jurgens has already added on an insane amount of weight to his natural frame so I don't see him putting on any weight that would benefit him.

So with that being said, if Kelce comes back, Steen is the RG of the future, Jurgens is out of position and we face a very deep Center draft...would you consider trading Cam Jurgens and then drafting one of the many good Centers in this draft?

There's no chance they would recoup the 51st pick they spent on him, but could there be a player for player deal done? Is there a LB, S, CB2, WR3 that isn't working out for a team or is on a final year of a deal that could be had? I'm looking at a guy like Hunter Renfrow, but not Hunter Renfrow. I'm taking age in to account too. Jurgens will be 25 when the season starts so I want a young player that can be a core piece, not a soon to be 29 year old slot WR.

Maybe the Jags look at Andre Cisco and would prefer OL stability than paying for Cisco's next contract.

Maybe Harbaugh goes for his own guy, Roman Wilson, in the draft and Josh Palmer becomes available.

Just spit balling ideas and changing the subject as we wait for the non-playing season. Ideally, Kelce hangs them up, Jurgens is the Center for the next decade+ and Steen can take over RG. But, if Kelce comes back it just continues Jurgens playing out of position and another year of a high draft pick sitting on the bench.

WIP - generally speaking - has been known to be associated with the Philadelphia Eagles - they call their games, etc.

So when they start BS like they have this past week, most people in the outside media will automatically assume there could be fire when they see smoke.

Even their own, Eskin, called them out for their BS.

Listening to a BGN podcast and it noted that Fangio ram cover zero at the fourth highest rate in the league last year. His percentage for running certain coverages were pretty similar to what the Ravens ran under Macdonald.

Fangio also led the league in simulated pressure at 36.1 percent.

Sweet.  We really need that.

You’re not going to get enough back in trade compensation to equal the value of OL depth if your scenario on the OL comes to fruition

He might be BPA at a premium position at a position of long-term need for the team....

I find that term so stupid

Maybe but it seems like the Lane mentor thing will just lead people into that pick
