Immediately skeptical of any ranking that puts Brian Johnson ahead of Slowik and on par with Monken.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

I see that Hurts led the NFC to victory yesterday.  Is there anything he can't do?

He was also super streaky. Looked like an all-pro QB one minute, and then a journeyman backup the next. The good Foles was really good, but the bad Foles couldn't keep a job on several teams.

I always felt like he got banged up a lot and it impacted his play. He was always taking hits. Literal statue back there. I give him props for standing in there but definitely not a way to extend a career.

He has an elite scheme/coach with the best rb in the game and a weapon in deebo. That the coach knows how to leverage.

i think he is a replacement level qb thats a function of the scheme, where he is a good fit

Replacement level? Have you guys watched QB play around the league in the last century. QBs are not plug and play.

Let's see what the Niners think of him.  Surely he'll get a mega deal right?

Have to go back and find out who the reporter was (was a national guy; i was half paying attention to it while driving was early last week if anyone else caught it) but was listening to Sirius. Like i said was half listening until they discussed if Brock purdy didn’t play well in the SB and he was the reason they faltered that he wouldn’t be shocked if the niners go after Kirk cousins in the offseason. I don’t know if he has any info actual info intk that on that or he’s just assuming cause cousins and Shanahan were together in Washington and Shanahan really likes him that they’d make a run at him if purdy stumbles.

Yep, that's the downside to what a lot of fans are asking Hurts to do. Staring down the barrel of the pass rush and letting it rip at the last possible moment is good for the offense, but bad for the QB's health. Purdy is also at risk of this as we've seen last year and almost again last week.

I've added Duke's mayo to my homemade chicken and dumplings on many an occasion.

It's a slippery slope though.

If you start adding it to your coffee, there are groups that can help.

I thank Will Levis everyday for that tip.

So.... unless I missed something, the R-words still have Eric Bieniemy?  Because I'm not aware of him resigning or being let go.

He signed a 2-year contract last February so he's still there.

Maybe him and Kingsbury are co offensive coordinators.

Like Ebony and Ivory.

WTF is that graph even? Brian Johnson is better play caller than Andy Reid okay lmao.

You should call WIP. They'll probably make a poll out of this and discuss it on the afternoon drive for 4 hours

Well, yeah. They signed him to a 2 year deal to be the OC \ Assistant head coach.  I seriously doubt the new coach and OC want him there.  So either they release him and eat his salary or make it so he resigns.  Of course I'm hoping for option 3, they don't want to pay to fire him, he won't quit so everyone is miserable.

They would absolutely take it seriously lol

I wouldn't be shocked if they do a trade for Hurts involving Dak.  Dak is on his final year of an expiring contract and they have to make a tough decision on whether to resign him or not.  Hurts is younger and locked up long term.  This gives them an out on Dak and lets them focus on the other areas of the roster.  The eagles then can roll with Dak for a year while drafting Spencer Rattler to be the QB of the future!

Do it.  I'll even move the Alexa into my office to listen in.

The issue is that Purdy is basically a very slight improvement, stats wise, over what Jimmy G put up once he got CMC. And we all say what happened to Jimmy G in Las Vegas. Fair or not, that's going to be the knock on Purdy unless he wins it all.

I think if you weighted the later part of the season, Johnson's ranking would be much lower.
