The only time I turn it on these days is if I happen to be in a car running late for the game because of a Wing run.

I haven't lived in the area in years so while I can stream rather easily I guess that extra effort helped me give it up many years ago.  Sometimes I'll listen to an interview from their podcasts if it's someone interesting but even that I rarely do anymore

The issue is that Purdy is basically a very slight improvement, stats wise, over what Jimmy G put up once he got CMC. And we all say what happened to Jimmy G in Las Vegas. Fair or not, that's going to be the knock on Purdy unless he wins it all.

Bingo. A lot of people forget this team was in the super bowl a couple years ago, and were really good even before Purdy stepped in last year. He's a product of the team around him, he has elite playmakers and an elite defense. But when you have those things all you need is a game manager who doesn't try to do too much.

Was just thinking about the Foles debate.  Would you rather have a career like Foles, and win a SB.  Or be Kirk Cousins or Matty Ryan  and get the plaudits, but not sniff a SB?

Back to KC?

Josh Harris getting it done.  Commanders swapped into the Super Bowl for the 49ers.

Foles and it's not even close.

I said any QB with half a brain, not any QB. Lance sucks. We all make fun of Daniel Jones but swap him and Purdy and results are the same. Take any average QB (so 15-20 range) and put them on the niners. They're still competing for a super bowl.

We'll just disagree.   Do big deal.  Purdy throws on time and on target, easier said than done.

So.... unless I missed something, the R-words still have Eric Bieniemy?  Because I'm not aware of him resigning or being let go.

Well, there's my answer.

Interesting question.  Foles reached the mountain top, but Cousins worked the pay checks better than most.  It’s unreal how much money he’s pulled in.

Cousins has made way more than Foles, but something tells me I could make the lesser money that Foles has made work for me lol

Yeah…I’d pick Foles.  He’s a legend in a city and will never have to buy a beer in Philly again

Random Nick Foles fact of the day: His family is well off.  His dad founded Eddie V’s Prime Seafood Restaurants (super high end restaurant chain) and sold it to Darden Foods for 59 million back around 2011.   He also takes his spirituality very seriously and lives a relatively humble life considering his level of success.

So the big money probably never mattered that much to Foles.

Has Joel been traded yet?

Yeah plus his family was already rich so not a money thing.

Go full The Office and give him a title where he and Nick will argue Assistant Head Coach or Assistant to the Head Coach

Would I rather have 80m$ or 300m$? Yeah I’ll take Matt Ryan

Nah.  Bieniemy was RB coach in KC while Matt Nagy was OC; he only became OC when Nagy left the Chiefs to be a head coach with the Bears.  Now with Nagy back in KC as OC there is no reason at all to bring Bieniemy back.

It's a hard one as the sportsman's ego will probably make a Matt Ryan look at the bank balance and think, hmmmm that finger is missing a ring or two. And $300m won't fill the hole

I propose a trade to team USA for any 2 starters, and 2 more of their training camp players.

I could see Andy creating a role for him. Senior Advisor or something

I didn't even read the question correctly, I saw Kirk Cousins and gagged

The defense was too easy to defend, the outside WRs were the only true threat, Goedert was injured and dinged much of the season, no 3rd or 4th WR or 2nd TE you had to fear in coverage. So they saw a lot of 8 man boxes, man coverage underneath - hard to run against, and Hurts held the ball b/c frequently no one was open within 3 seconds. Play design and play calling didn't help - with his bad knee, no one feared him on the RPO, a bad combination of too many vertical routes and WR screens.

Jurgens was out of play at RG, that's a spot that will need to be upgraded when he moves to center.

Poor route combinations is honestly the vast majority of this. Motion is probably the second biggest issue. Fixing those things probably fixes the vast majority of the offense and thankfully, Moore is good at both.

As great as football is, I’m not letting a 40,000$ ring have that dramatic an impact on my descendants. My great great great great granddaughter won’t give a crap about whether I won a SB for the eagles or won an MVP for the Falcons; she’ll  be worried about whether she has to work at McDonald’s to pay her college tuition.

It's a great comparison. Be as rich as Kirk, or have a SB win and some extra sauce downstairs.  What do you do?
