I thought they did great when they took Penei Sewell. I wanted the Eagles to stay where they were if Ja’Marr Chase didn’t fall to them and take Penei. I loved that kid when he came out. My issue was more with this draft. gibbs is good but a rb and I think they’re going to run into the same problem the Rams did with Jared goff. It’s why I said during the draft and before it, they should try to move heaven and earth go up and get CJ Stroud. These with all the weapons and Oline, he had a chance to be great and cheap for 4-5 to build up around him. I think they are gonna up paying goff 55 to 60 mil and be like the rams were who needed to trade for Stafford

Davis is. Laube is not.

I cannot figure out why, but Laube looks slow even though he isn’t. Idk if it’s his gait or what, but the kid looks like molasses out there yet very rarely do you ever see someone catch up to him from behind.

Was just thinking about the Foles debate.  Would you rather have a career like Foles, and win a SB.  Or be Kirk Cousins or Matty Ryan  and get the plaudits, but not sniff a SB?

Depends. I'll bet Cousins or Ryan's NFL earnings exceed Nick's by a fair margin. For career accomplishments, hard to beat Super Bowl MVP.

Take it FWIW, but Mosher said initially Kingsbury was the Eagles top choice for OC, but he wanted too much autonomy. Which I don't really get because they already stripped Sirianni of power to give their new OC more autonomy to begin with.

Sirianni may be out of the offense loop directly but that may not mean that Jeffrey, Julian and Howie are going to be quiet.

Niners already complaining

That’s great. Howie would have a field day with this Blog.  lol

Just go find a high school field somewhere, and count yourselves lucky you're not playing the actual game on a crappy field.

Any interest in Bieniemy as passing game coordinator or someone to replace Marcus Brady's role?

He would seemingly fit Marcus Brady's role but would be worried about him working well with everyone else.

I’m choosing to read Schefter’s comment in a sarcastic tone.

Welp, that all but guarantees the Eagles won't go OL. A rookie making an impact. Never. Yes, I know Jalen Carter.

Goodell just shutdown the 49ers conspiracies about their practice field turf.   Just said they had over 20 professionals go out and inspect it - including 3rd party neutral sources and they all unanimously stated the surface was fine and playable. lol

Goodell went on to say that it was softer than what the 49ers are used to but that "happens”.
