  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

That dude is a freak. Be hard to pass him up

Opening up on a Friday night? In Brazil? What do Eagles fans have to do to get a week 1 season opener in Philly?

So we gonna get shafted by the schedule from week 1 ?

The home opener is special. This is annoying. Depending on how the schedule shakes out it's possible the Eagles don't get to play in their home stadium until week 4. If shakes out with them having 2 games on the road in weeks 2 and 3. At the very least, probably week 3. Something about kicking off opening Sunday in your home stadium always gives extra juice and the Eagles won't have that at all in 2024. Could've at least made this game like week 9.

My guess:  8 home games, 8 away, 1 international

Any interest in Bieniemy as passing game coordinator or someone to replace Marcus Brady's role?

Kevin Patullo is passing game coordinator. Brady was just a senior consultant

Did we lose a Fin home game to this BS?!

We start out the season on the road almost every damn year. And now they’re sending us to Fin South America and calling it a home game?! WTF?!

They still have 8 home games.  But they did have 9.

Welp, that all but guarantees the Eagles won't go OL. A rookie making an impact. Never. Yes, I know Jalen Carter.

Right. Then he sits for years while our competition gets better now and in the future. If they do go o-line, I really hope they plan on putting him in at RG and he projects as a dominating presence and can eventually shift to RT if we want.

They’ll probably have a Thursday week 2 game.

The Cowboys never get jerked around with their schedule like this. The NFL always makes sure to give Dallas a nice cushion. Forbid the NFL steps on Jerry Jones' toes once in a while. And Dallas will have their bye right around their Thanksgiving game too, so they can get that extra rest precisely when they need it.

That's why I said "or." To replace Patullo or to replace Brady.

This is just more of the results of you awful fans and the home field DISadvantage you create :nonono:

Excellent thread.  I would recommend opening the whole thing in X.  I am excited to see motion come to this offense.  Swift could excel like Pollard did, if they retain him.

Thinking of all the beat writers getting lost and pickpocketed in Brazil....

Nothing shows love for the home fans like taking out the crowd for an opener and gifting the players with a 12 hour flight each way.   Goodell doesn’t give a flip about the existing "captive” market, it is all about growing the fan base worldwide.

Maybe Simmons and Surtain follow.

How is Surtain going to follow? I'm not following, he's not a free agent and Denver can use the 5th year option for 2025 too.
Simmons I could see, but he is 30. Do we want to go down that road again? We haven't had much luck with the older secondary guys lately. If we can get him on the cheap, I would be good with the move, he can be Fangios field general. He did have a pretty strong year.
