I love Jalen Hurts as if he were my own son.

He is my guy.  The issue is -  that he’s falling off.

He has this season to show the world who he is.

1 season? Lol. Please. Dude is 25 and has 73 TDs in 2 seasons. He had a top 10 scoring offense with a defense who couldn’t get off of the field on 3rd down and an offensive coordinator who couldn’t get away from screens on outside the numbers throws vs lol

I guess.  That would be the opinion of a knucklehead.

4-5 Championship games with James Thrash as your leading receiver says otherwise.

4-5 in Championship Games? What alternate reality did McNabb win 4 championship games?

lol... SB rookie... he about to take that L. Owners will care lmao.

It's his second Super Bowl as HC.  He lost to the Chiefs for Mahomes first Super Bowl. He was also the OC when the Falcons collapsed to the Patriots.

You sure about that? I think the OL said he was tired, but not that he threw up. The accusations of him vomiting came from TO and maybe Freddie too (not that I take what he has to say seriously either.)

TO was the one that said "I'm not the guy that got tired in the Super Bowl". I believe Fraley said he was almost puking, (not actually did). I don't recall exactly what Freddie said, but I believe he eluded to having to having to call the plays in the huddle because McNabb couldn't get his words out, something to that effect. Been quite awhile, but I don't recall if anyone said he actually blew chunks, (they may have, I just don't recall). I think players talked about his condition and it's now an almost 20 year story that he did blow chunks. I agree with your previous post that if he did, it would have been captured on film.

Flyers just played an excellent 2nd period after getting stomped in the 1st.  Going to be a fun 3rd.

Or what?  Isn’t that sort of silly to say considering his contract?

He’s going into his 4th full season as a starter and will be under his 3rd offensive coach in that time.  Did McNabb have that same situation?

Losers make excuses

he failed at Bama too and lost his job. For most of the same issues

I don't think he was posting that as his record. He was saying Thrash was his leading receiver for 4 to 5  NFCCGs. It was actually 3 though. Thrash was gone after 03.

Should the Eagles wear their Brazilian Green jerseys in Brazil?

What is weird to me is that there is video evidence of McNabb puking in other games (on the field and off). McNabb was still playing in an era where "anxiety" was frowned upon and ridiculed. All those little things people are saying that happened are more than likely just symptoms of anxiety. Again, what is weird to me is that some people today still can't recognize that and instead suggest things like McNabb was on the sauce during the game.

I can’t unsee it.

I don’t recall people claiming he was drunk during the game, ( not saying no one did, but I don’t recall that ever being the prevailing story). I recall he supposedly got slammed the night before, and was hungover, or still dealing with other related effects.

Mcnabb had one noteworthy season as a passer in his entire career.  He had FOUR seasons as a starter early in his career with a great OL, quality TEs, a top running game, consistent HOF offensive coaching, hyper elite defense, and terrible WRs.

He spent 6 more years with the Eagles where he really had it all.  He really only did anything with it in 2004.

Lots of wins and pro-bowls, but in hindsight, kind of meh.

Hurts 2023 was essentially Mcnabb’s 2004, but with a vastly superior SB.  Also essentially Wentz 2017, without the injury.

Both Mcnabb and Wentz just fizzled out (at varying speeds) afterwards.  Hurts needs to prove he’s not on that track.

To be fair his receivers were trash for the most part until TO. Would have been nice if he had some viable WR targets throughout his career other than a TE and pass catching RBs. That's on Reid for thinking he was Brady or something.

Does it matter? Would you be happier if he had 1 yard TD passes instead of runs with less success? How many times did we see his WRs come up 1 yard short of a TD this year. Smitty had a number of those.

Shows you how much I follow him lol. Wonder if he's ready for Spags.
