And here is the connection.

- Worked under John Pagano and Joe Barry on the Chargers staff

- That would be the same staff that Siriani was on 2014 - 2016

Or Fangio is waiting on Staley once the DC jobs run out.

Given how quickly Bobby King got announced post Caldwell joining Raiders, sure sounds like he was target #1

Washburn is pretty highly regarded around the league given he has experience in scouting/front office/coaching. I think it was Shwartz who said he will be a future DC or GM. I think his name would be out there visiting places if he wasn’t being brought back.

Plus he’s a Howie guy. I don’t think Fangio could overrule it.

Maxey better step it up he’s turned into a pumpkin since the Jazz game

What happened to that guy? Anyone know if he just never came to the new board or he came but then just stopped posting?

Yes, pure hate to not praise the dude for not playing like a 250mil QB. He played like a middle of the road QB this season, it is what it is. It's crazy how many people think any criticism is hate, regardless of how valid it is. Some people expect more from a dude who just got a massive payday, to regress back to bailing from clean pockets and playing stupid situational football is not the expectation.

QB play was down across the league though. Not sure what the hell happened. Dumb schedules maybe.

Hip drop tackles and tush push. Time to ban both.

My point is the mvp race was a joke for including him and them you started going off about how great he was playing

False. I stated the facts that would pool together to make him a leading MVP candidate. You starting going on about how rushing touchdowns don’t count lmao.

The facts saying he played well for half a season, MVP caliber performance. And yea I don't consider Tush Push TDs an indicator of great talent, this team has always been great at sneaks since kelce established himself as a top center. But I applaud your first half MVP, what an accomplishment that was

I don't know but in this era their/them/those are appropriate if you have multiple personalities or something like that 👀

Eagles LB coach is not the most appealing job.  This guy has coached Zach Cunningham in both Houston & Ten fwiw

Is "LB" coach with the Eagles even a job?   Or is it just a fancy title for the guy that they send out for refreshments for the other position coaches that actually have players to coach and have something to do with the game plan?

"LB", as in "How many lbs. of danish should I buy?"

Was really hoping to top this impressive defensive staff with Caldwell, but such is life. Maybe they'll hire Staley, but I doubt he'd take such a demotion compared to what he just was.

Nothing is perfect I guess. The defensive staff is way better on paper compared to this past season

He's not the name guy but Vrabel obviously liked him and he's a LB guy.  Got plenty of experience and basically we have no LBs anyway especially if you remove outside LBs from mix.

Each Philadelphia sports team has been seeing who can one up each other in disasters for 2 years in a row now.

It would be almost impressive if it wasn’t so damn depressing.

Maxey shooting 18/52 the last 3 games

Yeah it’s time to have Embiid get the surgery and shut this season down. They won’t be able to tread water until he’s back. This is a really bad team without him.

Was really hoping for a Ken Flajole type hire at LB coach. In retrospect, he did a hell of a job.

Eh Philly sports has been pretty amazing the last couple years. Sucks Embiid went down, but if they play their cards right I think it could be a blessing in disguise if they get a better draft pick out of it.

he got the surgery yesterday. trade deadline is 3pm tomorrow. Theyll make moves that help them stay afloat for 4 weeks and hopefully propel them through the post-season with him back.

Outside the Eagles, I don't follow any Philly shorts. I don't think anyone has knocked the Flyers off that pedestal yet or maybe?

I lied. I do follow/ like Nova but they seemed to have fallen off since Jay left

Thought the procedure was the "get him back this year” route vs another surgery which would have been more effective long term?

Also do you really have faith in Morey to fix this? I don’t. Morey is an absolute joke.

Ver FA signing, Dean, Cunningham going into the draft isn't a bad group to have and provides some injury cover. You hope they add a young guy on Day 2 to round it off but having four guys competing rather than being handed jobs like last year would be the way to go.

I think Van Sumeran will be in the mix, at worst the next Bradley, ST specialist who can fill in, at best with a year under his belt he learns how to use that elite athleticism on the field.

Well, you had the Phillies lose a World Series after leading the series including having a no hitter at home in there to follow that up with leading the NLCS series and losing that as well. Sixers got bounced in the second round after a 3-2 lead followed by Embiid getting hurt and probably losing in the first round. Flyers always sucked and once they get interesting their Goalie is arrested for sexual assault. And the Union lost their little soccer championship because of OT penalty kicks.

All on top of losing a SB after leading by 10 at halftime and then the worst collapse in team history.

Flyers are the overall disaster but each team has had their share of situational disasters.
