We're going to end up in another Alshon situation, aren't we?

Nah. I'm surprised Jeffery held up the entire season his first year with the Eagles.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

I’m surprised he made it through with the shoulder issue he had all year. Then again he had to otherwise he was in serious jeopardy of getting screwed on his next contract

They will turn him into a player.

Of course they will.

For Morey, it’s all about that cap space - not sure what he can turn that into?

He always had the injury bug unfortunately. I'm not worried about that with AJ. He's missed one game in his 2 years as an Eagle. He's on track to be the best wr in franchise history. I don't want to see him go anywhere. Pair him with Smith for years to come, that's deadly.

James Harden again when he's 40

I kind of think if we don’t hear about a restructure this upcoming year or an extension during next year/offseason then it’s likely he’s being dealt next offseason. Again don’t see him playing on a $26 mil cap number in 2025 and definitely not $41 in 2026

I could see either one happening. Eagles have been deprived of great wr play for years. Now we finally have that in both AJ and Smith

Morey failed another trade deadline. Guy sucks so bad.

Yeah. Since Hinke left we’ve been dealing with some morons who don’t understand value and refuse thinking about more than 1 season at a time.

Lost Morris and Pat Bev who were the only "Philly vibe/tough guys” we had. Lost Springer and Bev who were the best perimeter defender options we’ve had. Maybe we can get Morris back after a buyout

Gained Buddy for 2 months and -2 2nd round picks.

If we get Lowry this deadline would’ve been amazing 3-4 years ago

Or you can say he traded 5 guys who weren't going to be here anyway and got back a good SG starter who will space the floor and a younger backup PG.  May not save this season because of Embiid's injury but added a key piece for next year assuming Hield resigns.  And Hield must be ecstatic to be on a contender and to play alongside Joel and Tyrese.

There realistically was nothing they could do at the deadline to make them win this season when Embiid is probably out until April.

But yes, he does suck as a GM.

Great Sixers trade deadline if we get Spencer Dinwiddie and/or Kyle Lowry on the buyout market.  Threaded the needle between helping now, getting under the luxury tax, and keeping our powder dry for the offseason.

Joel isn’t playing any time soon and no one were brought in has future obligation to this team. Getting Payne to replace Bev and Spinger is bozo hours. Could’ve kept either one and still competed in buyout Market, which is also 1/2 year rentals. Morris and Furk for Buddy is fine, especially if Morris is bought out. Otherwise, trash. Embiid’s injuries have sucked but this franchise has made every bad decision they could to keep us down.

Why would Dinwiddie even consider playing here? Lowry’s 37 yo 8ppg isn’t that a needle mover .
