I said the defense was poor. But my point was we had no run game from the running backs. If we had one maybe we close out that game.

Can't close out a game when the D can't get a stop.

Again, I said the defense was poor. But if you have a run game you can eat the clock and close it out. Like we have done before.

You gonna close the game out from the 3rd quarter? KC still gets possessions... KC still scores against the defense that couldn't get a stop.

If you have a run game it's a different game. Maybe our o-line plays better and more physical too rather than being in pass pro all day. We had zero threat from the running backs that day. My view is different from that perspective. But the defense was embarrassing.

Queen benefitted a ton from Smith showing up

That's my worry of handing out big bucks to him. He was nothing special when he was the main guy but then really elevated his play when playing next to a star. Which Queen does the team that makes him the centerpiece of their LBs actually get?

You'll never have to worry about the Eagles giving up big bucks to an off ball LB

The Eagles offense put up 35 points and dominated TOP. Yes the defense was very embarrassing.

Queen is a good 2nd banana, but not a guy you want to pay premium money to lead your LB tandem

I felt like drafting.

Hit CB in free agency and punch a ticket to the super bowl with this 3 round mock.

And a 7 rounder for extra excellence

That would crush it right there.

Not sure Kinchens makes it to 50 though.

Seeing him go late 1st, early 2nd.

Worth a trade up though if he fell.

Yeah pff doesn't seem to have great player values yet.

Neither did the other site I did after that one. Probably too late for Hart, Pearsall and Green.

What are your thoughts on Jamari Thrash for WR3?

Dude just knows how to run routes and get separation. Has nearly perfected the route tree. Not the fastest and not a fan of his age (24), but he is looks like a plus starter right out of the gates.

And is probably there late RD3.

The guy is damn near 38 years old, and was overrated at 28.

Apparently drop issues.

Had an eye on him and then he did great at senior bowl but in season,  drops.

If we miss on a ton of other targets,  he's in my list but far down like 5-6th round.  He might go earlier than that.

Yeah we ran inside zone or off tackle from the shotgun. No variety of the run game, no variety in the pass game, very easy for NFL defenses to adjust and cover 4 plays lol. Hoping we get under center more and use more offensive line movement in the run game

ugh.

Mitchell probably goes higher after Senior Bowl. Don't care for Wilson, but the site liked him. If he could play WR3 it might be OK, but would prefer a more traditional slot WR there.

Signing FA help on OL and DL, LB, and S with this one.

Watched a report from Chicago on Steve McMichael; man, he really doesn’t have much time left.  Glad he was able to find out he’s being inducted into the HOF

I know it may piss a lot of people off, but I think we may not be making any major additions at CB

Rodgers

Maddox

Slay

Bradberry

Jobe

Ringo

Ricks

Goodrich

Roby?

Very unlikely Bradberry’s cap hit is eaten; at best he’s a reserve corner. Pull 5-6 out of that group and cut all the other guys. Then add another guy or two and PS Ringo? Cut Ricks?

Plus the sheer amount of money we have buried in the position. Rodgers/Slay is still a strong tandem
