Jelce has either been soft benched to a decoy or that has been the gameplan and that is what he's fuming about.  Because Mahomes isn't even looking his way on ang pass.  I've been watching for it this past drive.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Yawn

So who took the under?

SF has dominated this game and yet is only up 7 points with KC getting the ball next.

Textbook Mahomes comeback inc.

These bouncer refs are really into it

Snooze fest

Feels like settling for a fg is pretty deflating for the type of drive they had.

Got a long halftime.   Time for Reid to prove his greatness and make some adjustments.  Quick passes have been working and they need to run it some more with Pacheco.  Get him more involved and obviously Kelce too.

easier to defend Kelce this year as compared to previous years. Not having Thuney also doesn’t help. Like going from Brandon brooks to opeta. Chiefs made the Super Bowl but their last 4 quarters of football vs. ravens and niners they’ve scored 3 points.

Gonna have to turn this game off; KC looks listless for some reason.  Hopefully they’ll wake up without me watching, but this could become another snoozer like the Bucs game a few years ago.

Yeah only down 7 when the offense is having a full on meltdown with Kelce assaulting Reid and only putting up 3 points. But the offense also had that full on meltdown.  Not sure you can overcome that in the Super Bowl but Mahomes is that great of a QB to be able to overcome something like that. I don't think it's looking good for thr Chiefs unless they open with a score.

Something is going on with them though, Mahomes won't even look at Kelce when he drops back.

Travis Kelce is a total dbag

Only worked because of the illegal man downfield blocking

I was wondering about that. Thought I was seeing things

Who’s the SB MVP at this point? No one has a strong case besides Jennings

Usher

There was no downfield blocking on that throwback pass.   I rewound it to double check.  All the blocks were behind the LOS.   It just LOOKED like it was downfield because of how far back the WR was to receive the lateral.    It was well drawn up, and well executed.

I can't stand the 49ers as much as the next guy... but gotta tip the cap on that play.  It was really well done.

They just said at halftime that TD shouldn't have counted for illegal man downfield

Probably best thing for him and his "Jelce/Swift” brand.  The less attention he gets for now is probably better.

eh they didn’t look good on offense in the second half against the ravens. Besides the penalties by the ravens and last drive of the game, the chiefs didn’t do anything. Similar to the second half vs. ravens. Chiefs have 3 points over their last 4 quarters. Their offense just isn’t what it was in past years and not having Thuney is big.

Pass was behind the LOS, so it doesn't matter

It was still thrown forward.  By your logic, every screen pass could have linemen more than 10 yards downfield.

Even with the red zone fumble?

The ref that missed the call on the TD.

Of course Boomer had to say it was a penalty and the TD shouldn't have counted

Who was the MVP last year at halftime?
