  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

That ending is the only positive to come from that season. Now I don't have to hear them or their garbage fanbase talk about how they would've beat the chiefs with Purdy. The chiefs would have curb stomped them last year just like we did. They got the lesser version and still lost

Idiot Eagles fans called him fat, idiot, didn’t know clock management etc

You are all idiots.

I was against letting Nick Foles go.

Wentz enablers said that Foles was a one trick pony and Wentz was astronomically more talented than Foles.

You are all a bunch of morons.

I am and still am a Hurts guy.  He’s shown a lot except this season he turned into a knucklehead - probably listening to you idiots.

Hopefully next season Hurts will realize don’t listen to the Philly morons.

You do you and bring this city back a championship.

Wow....you are quite the d-bag!

I don’t disagree with you there. He’s hugely overrated but as you say he’s cheap so they can build an elite roster.

Honestly, that seems to be the model that works best.  Unless you hit on an absolute elite talent at QB that raises everyone up, you are in a horrible spot at contract time.  We paid Hurts for basically one season and are now hoping that he just had a down year while the roster implodes.  Will they do the same with Purdy?   Awful spot to be in.

It’s a difficult one for them because Purdy does put up good numbers so there will be a lot who think he is the answer. I just think he’s a result of the scheme and the players he has around him. Put him in any other team in the league and he’s average at best.

Someone is gonna have some "regerts” this morning.

What a beautiful morning. Yes the Eagles crapped the bed, but I’m mentally into the offseason. But I got to watch the Cowgirls and 40Whiners both lose in epic fashion.

Was just looking at Matt Miller’s 2-round mock and has the Birds taking:

22: Quinyon Mitchell CB, Toledo

50: Tyler Nubin S, Minnesota

53: Junior Colson LB, Michigan

Switch Colson for Edge Cooper or Cedric Gray and that’s a great first 2 rounds.

Almost willing to bet my life savings the Eagles don't draft CB, S, LB with their first three picks

I am sure the whiners have some excuse on why they were cheated last night (despite an obvious illegal man downfield on their trick play TD), but iDGAF what they say.  They lost to a lesser KC than the Eagles played last year.  Satisfactory ending to the season.

The illegal man downfield was disproven last night. All linemen were behind the LOS when the ball was thrown. @Iggles_Phan posted the image clearly showing everything was legal.

They might draft ONE of those in the first three picks, ain't no way they do all three. They've gone round 2 safety before and corner before (with miserable results recently), but obviously haven't drafted a LB higher than the third probably since before this century I'm too lazy to look.

I think they go edge with their first pick, OT with their second and CB/S with their third. It's not smart, but like someone said recently this team has a real problem putting positional value over talent. They'll take a middling prospect at DL/OL before a stud CB/S/LB if they feel they have a need on the line. And that's how you end up with guys like Danny Watkins and Marcus Smith.

Don't worry. They'll bring Cunningham back and maybe sign another LB off of the scrap heap to go along with Nakobe JAG and Shaun Bradley coming back.

I mean I'm enjoying the niner loss as much as anyone, but WTF is this?

I was wondering the same thing.

First one is self-explanatory, second one is in reference to Fletcher making fun of Deebo on social media and rubbing the loss in his face, and third one is probably about Nick Bosa's girlfiend who made overtly racist and homophobic tweets when they were in college I think (I vaguely remember reading about it last year when we were about to play them.)

It should be an interesting offseason, with two experienced coordinators who can tell Howie who they want to keep and what they want to add.

What makes the NFL different is you can reshape a roster quickly to suit a new scheme. Like add a back who can actually pick up blitzes.

Last season adding two inexperienced coordinators meant Howie was basically flying by the seat of his pants.

Reid's fatarse his one cheeseburger away from a heart attack. QB1 has always been a knucklehead

Good morning!

The 49ers are ringless, Deebo is crying from the loss and Cox's social post and Nick Bosa is now 0-2 during Black History Month.

Deebo's excuse will be they didn't have their 2nd best LB on the field and he got hurt

Correct.   In fact when he got hurt, I laughed a little.   My wife got indignant and asked if I was wishing injury on someone.   I said, "Absolutely not.  But, if a guy is going to get hurt... in a non-contact situation... in front of a Super Bowl audience... THAT was the perfect guy for it to happen to."

I legit said outloud "good for him, that guy is a d-head" My wife yelled at me too

Thank you for steering conversation back to the Eagles offseason

I keep seeing this thrown around, but I'm not sure it's really grounded in reality. I don't even know who it's in reference to... Swift? Gainwell? I don't remember watching too many plays thinking, "If only Swift could make a better block there, we'd have picked up that first down."
