It's really not that hard to crack the code with Purdy, Hurts, Mahomes, all of them.

Purdy, Trevor Lawrence, and Tua are the best QBs in the NFL on rookie contracts.  I think everyone will give that much credit to Purdy.  Hurts was atop that list last year.  Realistically, the biggest difference between Lawrence and Purdy is that Purdy is on a stacked team with great system type offensive coaching, whereas Lawrence is in less of a cocoon despite superior prototypical QB talent.  Tua is on a stacked offense, but has a lesser defense.

The "going rate" for these guys is astronomical.  Mahomes is the only QB in the NFL that is worth it.  Which is why the best teams in the NFL are always going to be the Chiefs plus whatever team builds a great roster and has a quality guy on a rookie deal.  We had our shot with that and the ship sailed last February.

SF will probably let Purdy play out his deal so they can keep the rest of the team together in 2024 for one last all-in shot.

I pray they give Purdy a mega deal

Ok I love the Barkley deal

I see a lot of people clutching their pearls over the Kelce/big red sideline incident. Maybe I’m alone on this, but I’ve watched the video a bunch of times & don’t see some bad shove & also don’t think it’s really that big of a deal. People are calling for him to be cut & fined. Sure it’s not a good look on the surface but Big Red even not making a deal out of it tells me it’s really not a big deal

Well, they just won a SB.  The more anyone dwells on it, AR included, the more it detracts from what they just accomplished.  So they'll all just go with the flow on it.

But I do think it's really bad.  Travis Kelce is an immature diva and I can't stand watching him.  If OBJ did that in a losing effort, imagine how bad the backlash would be.  The guy is a jackass.

CJ is already better than Purdy.

Mostly outsiders.

I think there is a discrepancy in how certain people are covered. If it’s a black WR that yelled at his coach like that and put his hands on him, media would vilify him and call him a cancer/diva/etc. I mean media tried their best to run AJ Brown out of the city after he did much, much, much less for example. I feel the NFL creates very strange issues for themselves over and over and many of them can be reduced by tailoring how people consume their content.

I think In general the NFL needs some direction on the product they’re creating. They should get rid of the "studio ref” interviews on the commentary unless he’s the one determining the call. It creates confusion and shows inconsistency within the rules and interpretations of them. This also goes with how they announce penalties as well. I feel the refs should decided, get with coaches and keep the game moving, and the penalty and the penalized player/team and result is just a banner near the score board, and they don’t have to go back and analyze a penalty that isn’t going to be changed and only makes the NFL look worse when it is.

They need to reduce and remove re-plays of gruesome injuries especially slow motion versions over and over on the broadcast.

They didn’t catch that moment in real time with Kelce for the broadcast, they replayed it after the commercial break. Without them purposely replaying that footage it’s never is an issue and no one is none the wiser.

Yea. It’s a bad look being on the biggest stage plus Kelce caught him off guard which made it look worse, but it just looked like a guy too hyped up. Reid handled it extremely well also.

I’m just saying the best 3 QBs on rookie contracts does not currently include Brock Purdy.

I feel like generally most of people upset about it are relatively new to world of football, especially NFL where things are a tad different. I had a family member reach out to me today saying he should have been benched, fined, cut all that. College/HS level sure, but feels a bit over reactionary at the NFL level.

I think people don’t realize their relationship either, if you’ve followed both of their careers for as long as we all have, you realize it’s just a great player wanting to play at the biggest stage. Especially when it’s Kelce who’s already a very emotional dude.

I didn't know people were calling for him to be cut. There's no chance he gets cut. Jesus the bidding war for Kelce would be crazy and hilarious to see though lol

Curious about the thought of Brenden Rice in the draft.  Runs routes like his dad.  Strong hands.  Good size (6’3” 210) and good speed.  Mostly played X in college but some slot.  Unlike Reagor, he doesn’t come off as entitled.  Really like how he shields. Fakes are pretty good too.  Excellent separation on slants.

On top of that, insane athlete.  Still a mystery to me why he is projected as a mid rounder.

That's how it's supposed to be. A Mr. Irrelevant shouldn't even be in the conversation but he is.

Mostly redditors, who can be the self righteous type.

What makes this hilarious is I’m positive like every nfc fan base and a ton of players just hate the niners

For as much hate we gets as a fan base, it’s nice to see a different fan base get all the hate for once

Whose conversation? He’s not in mine lol

How did Australia get so lucky to have Fowler and Orlovsky?

You have an agenda

I know the Eagles haven’t made proper use of a receiving RB in a few years, but if Swift isn’t brought back I would have interest in Antonio Gibson as a RBBC guy.  I always thought he was a pretty good player when I saw the Commanders play, then his snaps went way down when Brian Robinson was drafted.

He has good size, good hands, runs with some juice and shouldn’t cost big money at all.

Should probably wait more than one season before we start crowning people

Not that I put much stock in what they’re saying, but let’s say it’s true… I think acquiring Allgeier as a secondary piece makes a ton of sense.

Wonder what the chances Kelce signs with the Chiefs to play with Travis for both of their final years? You have to think KC is the clear favorite to win it all again next year. He certainly loves wearing Chiefs gear.

He said he can’t leave Philly because his in-laws are vital to helping with the kids. If he plays again, it’s in Philly; if he end up coaching it’s either a Philly high school or with the eagles. College isn’t worth the hassle

I’d be good with that. I have a hard time figuring out Reddick’s draft value, his production is elite but his age makes me nervous. I feel a 2nd is fair
