AJ had his little tantrum after a win Week 2 of the regular season. Kelce was during the Super Bowl while they were losing after a huge fumble.

Lets stop comparing the two.

#43 overall🙏

That's no where near enough I don't think.

Holding up his hand to show he's open is for the QB.  It's not anything unsual. He was ecstatic about the OT TD pass. I just think he wanted to win more than anything else.

Of course.   His passion was about being taken off the field, because he's a MUCH better TE than Watson, which isn't inaccurate.  He's their second best offensive player and easily their best target for Mahomes.   And frankly, Reid was wrong in taking him off the field in the red zone like that.   Taking him out makes the defense think run more than pass because he's so much better as a receiver.

I agree with Kelce's overall point, but we don't know that he was asking to be put in to block versus petitioning being a target for a TD pass in the red zone.   Either way, the Chiefs are more dangerous with Kelce on the field.

Reddick and Bradberry plus picks for Surtain can clear some room.

Unless you do this in June, no.  And this kind of trade won't happen post June 1st

It could theoretically be agreed to, then postponed until June 1.

Not with that attitude it won’t

27 days till Free agency starts. I’m ready for some offseason news that isn’t about coaching

Did they ever make a formal announcement about LB coach? I know the one guy was listed as ILB coach but I haven't read anything else saying otherwise.

If AJ Screamed at our coach and bumped him like that this place would blow up

crap he got frustrated with Jalen on the sideline in a meaningless game and this place blew up

And the media would be outside novacare with pitchforks and torches

But he is just a cheaper and slightly better Jimmy G. He has a really good OL so has protection. He has an elite run game with a RB who also catches a lot of passes and lines up everywhere. And then he has a top 3 TE, an elite WR, an outstanding #2 WR and other pretty good weapons. Not to mention a HC who runs a really good offense that is creative and gets guys in space.

Put Purdy in any other team in the league and he’s average at best.

Outside of Silverback, his OL is straight garbage.

Outside in the elements the clock would make more of a difference.  If there were wind gusts you’d see strategy about whether you wanted the quarter to end or not, in terms of having to switch ends

Yeah I guess.  Didn't really think of that.

PFF proposing Reddick to the Texans for #59.

I don't think I'd do that unless Reddick restructures his contract in a way that really lowers his 2024 dead cap for us.

Winning cures a lot of things.  If the Chiefs had lost the Super Bowl I think it would be a bigger deal.

The Fields trade I could see happening; PIT is at a point where they're desperate for a QB.  Trouble for them is, Fields is not a viable long-term NFL QB.

I still think the Eagles try to work out some kind of a deal with Reddick.  If they can't get it done going into training camp, he'll be traded sometime in July for 2025 assets.

You can’t lower dead cap. Dead cap is dead.

I wonder if the Eagles are going to get in on the Mitch Trubisky sweepstakes.

(And despite my obvious joking phrasing, I could honestly see him as new Mariota assuming he comes cheap)

This off season makes or breaks this team. If howie doesn't fix the defense it's a wrap and it should be a wrap for him too.

It's an agenda to downplay the guy because you don't like him or the 9ers apparently 🙂 It's cool. It's the fan in you. For a damn near undrafted guy he's been damn good. I would expect almost 1st over all picks to be better.

Once you’re in the NFL it doesn’t matter where youre drafted. He is definitely been better than where he was taken, but that doesn’t give him bonus points.

Theoretically, yes.  Likely, doubtful.  You make a trade like that and you want those players in the building with the new team\coaches asap.

That's not entirely accurate. Reddick can return some of his signing bonus back to the Eagles, contingent on an extension. Usually players don't do this because they don't want to give up money when they don't have to. Reddick/Eagles can also restructure his contract to remove option bonuses in exchange for an extension.

Of course... but there are always ways around that.

Maybe they have a young defensive player to be thrown in the mix too. Otherwise I'd take Dameon Pierce to pair up with a Swift, exactly what this offense needs.

Plus it wildly changes both teams offseason strategy. If one decided to back out someone is getting screwed.

Reddick will be mostly solved before FA starts is my guess.

yep. a team will get about 3 productive years from him and he will definitely be worth his big contract. He should have 1st round value, or even more.

If we can somehow get cap help in a deal, I can see his draft comensation being lowered to a 2nd but apparently thats not possible.

If we trade him, it should be for a 1st and 4th or a 1st and a future pick.

Mariota can walk. I’d rather have McKee on the field than him
