the link to his apparel site is different than his apparel site on his instagram. Instagram one is legit, Twitter one I get a warning about someone trying to steal my information.

so I really don’t know if that’s actually Jalen Carter’s twitter.

I also don’t know why I care or spent so much time figuring this out but I’m committed at this point

I’m committed in seeing this rivalry go to a level of just pure hatred between players on the two teams.

Cox isn't exactly a shining beacon of professionalism either, he's a Twitter warrior too. He and slay have both gotten into Twitter arguments with fans before

Yeah fletch has my old Twitter blocked. I don’t even remember saying anything bad about him, went thru my history of tweets also & couldn’t find anything cause I was so surprised he blocked me, I mean he’s one of my favorite players & I never had more than like 500 followers so it was weird. I think I probably said something negative about Wentz & that’s what did it for me

I only figured that out because for whatever reason googling "Jalen Carter Eagles Twitter” takes you everywhere besides where you actually want to be

Or you should be committed.  Could go either way.

Yeah but he’s saying that happened after he laughed at him getting a penalty then Carter said what he did in threatening his family then he mentioned his teammate. I really highly doubt that’s what triggered Carter to threaten him and his family. I’m betting it was feliciano saying something about his friend/teammate being dead and then Carter said what he did and feliciano responded with i bet cause you got a body. I don’t buy the bs laughing at his penalty is what triggered it.

to be perfectly honest, Feliciano looks like a dbag for throwing his teammate under the bus already over the last 24 hours. He would look like an even bigger dbag if he started the whole thing by saying something about his dead teammate to him that cause Carter to say what he did. His story makes him out like he just said it back after he got his family threatened for laughing at a penalty. I don’t believe for a second that’s how it went down.

Real or fake, there was never any threat to his family. You just misread the poorly worded reply:

Quote

Dude told me he was gonna murder me and my kids would never see me again

Two thoughts separated by the word "and." In other words, it wasn't a threat to "murder me and my kids." It was "murder me" and "my kids would never see me again" (because he would be dead).

I’m confused

Thanks. Either way i don’t think this started with Feliciano just laughing at his penalty.

Interesting parallel:

In 2012, one of the teams most linked to free agent QB Peyton Manning was SF. Reports were that Jim Harbaugh was flying out to see him personally, they have private workouts, everything. Peyton eventually said no. SF then went to and lost the SB that very year, leading to an eternity of What-ifs for 9ers fans.

In 2023, Kyle Shanahan admitted they had pushed to get Tom Brady out of retirement and be their starting QB. Tom even admitted he was contemplating a comeback, though he eventually declined. SF immediately made and lost the SB that very year. What if….

I get purdy was coming off the elbow injury but kind of think Shanahan pushing for Brady makes me believe cousins to SF isn’t out of the realm of possibilities. I highly doubt it but i don’t think there’s a 0% chance either

I know that's their core philosophy and they have been doing that for years, but they are in a super bowl window now. This might finally be the year they buck that trend!

I don't think they will take a OT early since since you don't draft that kind of role when you are in a super bowl window, and they may still have Dillard in the back of their mind. There's going to be a massive drop off when a future HOF caliber player goes down, but they have to find cheaper ways to deal with it. I don't think they are going to go off reservation and start drafting LBs and RBs in the 1st, but you may seem them get drafted early day 2.

Please give Fangio a real LB. That's all I ask.

Let's look at their recent SB windows, coming off playing in the SB:

2018: traded out of the 1st because no major needs, selected Goedert as a backup TE with their first selection (2nd round).
2019: traded up to take an OT to replace Jason Peters while he was still on the team
2023: having just lost the SB and still in the SB window you're talking about: took a DT for the 2nd year in a row, trading up again to get him. And took a pass rush specialist who barely saw the field. Even Carter didn't get full-time snaps right away.

I would love for them to break the trends and draft a great prospect at LB, S or corner in the 1st. I do think with those two 2nd round picks that it's more likely to see those positions among the first 3 selections. I think Howie realizes the need for upgrades at LB, he noted the 2 SB years they had strong LB play. I'm guessing he signs a free agent or two, and drafts a LB maybe in the 2nd or 3rd. He's also got those extra 5th round comp picks to use to maybe trade up.

It would be a surprise and a break of trend for him to not draft a linemen in the first round though.

The Giants and Cowboys rivalries have been getting stale. I welcome some new blood.

Sometimes its good to revisit these, as long as my opinion isn't in them. There didn't seem to be much interest in either of them previously.

Was pretty high on both of them but likely anyone on this board has been high on specific prospects which Eagles FO shamelessly passed on.

Michael Kendricks over Bobby Wagner anyone? How about Jalen Reager over Justin Jefferson? List is pretty long but that’s the name of the game. You win some, you lose some.

Probably going to be OL or Edge in the 1st.

The Reddick situation and Kelce's retirement status will go a long way in determining which direction they will lean.

LB and S in the 2nd round as you mentioned paired with mid-tier FAs.

I'd be okay with an OT in the 1st, but to see that player have to wait two or three seasons to start, would be disappointing. What's the deal with Steen? What is his projection? I'd rather go OG to be honest. Assuming Kelce has retired. There will be some great prospects at 22. Been on a Barton kick of late. That dude is going to be a star when he makes the move from tackle to guard.

A cooked Brady is still 1000x better than Purdy, especially in that offense where he could throw quick passes and let the playmakers do the rest.
