PFT says Roy Ivstan going to the Browns in the same role.  Opening spot for Kelce to get coaching experience?

I think he might be interested but I still don't see it happening. He's an entertainer now and speaking with networks during the SB week. He'll get paid so much more do so much less, and he's basically guaranteed at this point to land a major deal at one of the networks.

Demarcus Lawrence gets roasted for saying the Cowboys were burnt out, long season, "the legs get tired."

How do all the other teams go through the playoffs then?

There's some truth to that... it IS hard on their bodies and they DO get tired legs.   BUT, all teams experience that, which is why the bye week is such a huge advantage to the top seed.   That's why teams get a boost after the bye week during the season.    That's why a player coming back from injury can have a nice boost to teams, because their legs are fresh.

BUT, that can NEVER be used as an excuse for poor playoff performance, because ALL teams deal with it.   And while the top seed does have a benefit of the bye, that's their reward for having the best record.  So, again, no whining.

If you're a real nerd, SumerSports recently published a paper to MIT on a framework they want to implement to better analyze and assist with offensive line player development

https://www.sloansportsconference.com/research-papers/using-tracking-data-to-build-offensive-line-development-tools

It gets deep into the details, but it's pretty interesting to see how these things get conceptualized and the level of detail the data can provide. For instance, they are able to track a single OL players exact coordinates on a field 10 times every second. That level of detail, for every player, is crazy and shows how big analytics is for the NFL and the direction its headed.

People are going to start posting pass blocking charts instead of QB passing charts.

That's pretty sweet.

I can show you what the chart looked like for Winston Justice when he was here.

I was surprised listening to Sheil last night, he thought Reddick would get paid a lot less than I thought he would say. He thinks the Eagles will keep him, but on a new deal worth 17-20m per season. That's not much of a raise from his current numbers.

At this point, shouldn't the name be updated to Oldfoundland?    Not exactly 'new' anymore.

Happy hunting!

Interesting that Brian Johnson will he Washington’s assistant head coach and passing game coordinator.

Exactly.  Then, eventually, Ye Olde York, etc.

Anything EA touches with football sucks these days.

FYI: everyone can sign up for a free year of NBA league pass using promo code ALLSTARTATUM.

Good for out of towners who want to watch Sixers.

I wonder what the numbers for DeVonta are going to look like

Possibly it's the college she went to, Kelce went to Cincy

No. They met in Philly and she went to a PA college. It was just a dumb joke anyway.

She went to Cabrini.

I know this off the top of my head because that's where schmoopie went.

Luckily Hurts has held him back. Id imagine his numbers should be right about where these are.
