It gets deep into the details, but it's pretty interesting to see how these things get conceptualized and the level of detail the data can provide. For instance, they are able to track a single OL players exact coordinates on a field 10 times every second. That level of detail, for every player, is crazy and shows how big analytics is for the NFL and the direction its headed.

People are going to start posting pass blocking charts instead of QB passing charts.

It'll be interesting to see how teams will overlay this data with what should have been done.  Could be chastening for some players.

Has them passing on Mitchell(and others) for DeJean. I'm not post mock guy, in fact I think it gets insufferable until April. But Sharp's site had both Eagles picks nailed last draft. Had them getting Carter and Smith.

DeJean, I am guessing would be a better fit inside or at safety.  He probably would do well in a zone based scheme.

Incorrect.  He is very athletic and can do absolutely anything in the secondary.

Yea, during the playoffs. He was mostly inactive during the regular season then they waived him in January.
