3pt shooting contest is good.

Curry vs Sabrina was fun.

Dunk contest was must watch TV after McClung blew it up last year. It wasn't as good this year though.

Also had to watch the skills contest because Maxey was in it.

Not my cup of tea or shot of Jack. Much rather watch women's gymnastics or read Elmore Leonard.

It was garbage. It's just one big gimmick now.

The LED floor is cool technology but boy does it make for some piss poor viewing. One thing that's really weird about it is the LED eliminated all shadows from the players. It's just like one big badly designed video game.

The dunk contest is just a joke anymore. They need the LED floor, smoke cannons after a dunk, and finally flame throwers to keep peoples attention. At one point, the broadcast didn't even show the dunk that was happening because some guy was in a full Dominique Wilkins uniform for some unknown reason and they were showing him instead. There was just no authentic, natural energy at all. Might as well have been pre-game warm ups.

I had to look up the "famous streamer", Kai Cenat, that was brought out as a prop. Yep, I'm now old. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kai_Cenat. After reading that, I still don't understand what exactly he does.

"In March 2023, Cenat was reported to be making approximately $23,280 per month from his sleep streams, resulting in an annual income of $285,480"

To top it off, the judges were plain old bad.

I think it's time to pull the plug on the dunk contest. There are only so many dunks you can do. McClung has an unreal vertical though. He's fun to watch.

It’s my role to drop these grenades around here, so I have to be the one to say it.  Here goes:

Im tired of the Jason Kelce show.  Over it.

Meh.  We aren't their demographic target audience.

Get ready for tonight. Final score will be like 320 to 312.

Nope, and I'm OK with that. I just don't understand what the hell sleep streaming is and how a guy makes nearly $300k doing it. Literally streaming yourself as you sleep...

I'm happy for him.  Seems like he is having fun and being authentically himself.  I don't listen to the podcast much, only 3 of them so far and didn't watch the TV show.  So I'm not oversaturated.

Amazing.  Wish I thought of it.  But my viewers would really have to like snoring, sleep farting, and regular trips to piss.

No, he's a troll and blocks anyone who repeatedly counters his absurd takes.

There's a reason he was previously perma banned.

Based on what metric?

Jaylen Brown was tue worst dunker of the night and somehow almost won the whole thing. He didn’t do a single impressive dunk. He could have layup the ball in off the backboard and throw awful judges would have given him a 49. Toppin was robbed. His 360 between the legs dunk was twice as good as anything Jacquez or Brown did. MacClung was awesome once again.

I thought the LED floor was pretty cool.

did you see last years dunk contest? It needed none of that. McClung stole the show with original dunks each that he made on his 1st try.

This year he did have another new dunk that the judges were too old to notice, and otherwise he and everyone else just kept jumping over people so it lacked originality.

Jalen Brown tried to copy a famous dunk where the dunker covered his eyes, but Browns execution was off and he didnt cover his eyes till after he landed and the crowd boo'd him. I dont think he will ever do another dunk contest.

There was really no one in McClung's league this year, and even his werent as exciting as last year.

The fact is there is no definitive argument that any other QB in the league right now is better than Hurts other than Mahomes.

I'm so excited for him to prove the haters wrong again. I'm so excited to see those cockroaches sprint out of their holes again to go full hate mode again.  He is so far form the problem and is very likely the second best player in the league at any position that it's laughable. But okay, he will prove it again.  We should have a confident DC for once since Schwartz.  Just need to hope that the Moore/Sirianni hybrid works out.

Hyperbole much? Top ten yes, top five maybe, top two? Got to string together multiple top seasons.

Hurts is still learning how to play QB, he's not good throwing on the run, something he has to fix. Has to get faster at going through his progressions.

On the other hand, he should be much better with Moore at OC, especially if they add a block who can pick up blitzes and give him outlets other than going 4 deep. And use motion, etc. so he can make pre-snap reads. The RPO should be delegated to a "trick play," we saw this with Foles and now with Hurts, you can take teams by surprise for one season, then they study film and figure out how to shut it down.

It was pretty hilarious for to see Brown use his left hand as a way to up his level of difficulty since he gets made fun of for not having a left hand.

The judges were just all-time bad. I don’t think they really took MacClung’s height into consideration. The stuff he did was incredibly difficult at that height.

You’re right though, nothing can compare to what he did last year.

The floor was cool. Pretty amazing what they can do. Im surprised the 6ers havent invested in that tech yet. They were one of the first to adopt the floor projector technology thats used before games. But this seems to be a new system that takes it to a new level.

I wish they could get McClung and LaVine in the same contest. But those guys may be out of ideas.

I can definitively argue that Baker Mayfield was much better than Hurts as of January.

Baker had a good year , especially considering he had a new OC , again , first time play caller in a new offense . He is about to get paid , still only 28

jordan love had a better year , dak had a better year

I think a lot of people see the scheme and gameplan Hurts was handed and saw how handicapped he was by the coaches. We’ll have a few years to shake out where Hurts is going to be in this league.

Joe Burrow, CJ Stroud, and Mahomes are the only QBs I’d consider trading Hurts for.

Marcellas Dial is a CB I’ll be watching at the combine . His coverage is tight
