I’m hoping for Brissett

I would like him but he might price out. He got $10M for one year last year.

Or no one was open and the scheme didn't provide a check down.

Teams started sending zero blitzes on a regular basis and Johnson made no adjustments.

When you send four deep, and your QB is under pressure, not a lot of options.

Ok. But this whole discussion was leaving clean pockets.

He said "off the field" which (if true) can mean not actual play in a game. Locker room, practice, meeting, parking lot conversation, text/phone call, etc.

No. They play the clip here. He said "It has nothing to do with football. Nothing to do with football.”

In any case, it’s probably Sileo levels of information. I only even brought it up because of how stupid it was plus I knew the Cox jokes would post themselves.

Oh ok, sorry I was going on the text I saw in a tweet. It's all speculation anyway.

What about how his "runs" looked in games in 2023?

He was not doing that in 2022. Are you going to still sit here and argue he wasn't protecting himself?

I am telling you it was picking and choosing arbitrarily when to protect and when not to.  It wasn't a season long, all game every game directive.  It was intermittent and erratic.

Why wasn’t this clip in there

Jimmy G.

Has experience in playoff games and starting when players go down.

Will not be expensive because of the two game suspension.

Feels like his skill set would be good for a Kellen Moore offense.

Him winning a ring would stick it to the Niners.

yuck

I feel like he suddenly stopped trusting the pocket and got happy feet when the OL started getting hurt. Never seemed to recover.

It's why I'm starting to warm to the idea of OT/OG in RD1 or in early RD2 after a series of trade downs.

Get the line tight. Get Hurts right.

Mims could fill in at RG with a succession plan to eventually move to RT.

Barton or Beebe would be excellent choices as the RG of the future. Find Lane's replacement in 2025.

Did a mock just now where the Eagles traded out of RD1 and wound up with Kinchens, Cooper, and Beebe in RD2. Would cry tears of joy!

Feels like a trade up kind of year rather than down given the underwhelming talent pool.

Could see that as a real possibility too.

Especially if a Howie coveted pick slides a few spots past where he had them being selected.

Mims is starting to feel like the pick. OG to OT potential. Amazing athlete for his size. Maybe Guyton too.

Just don't want to lose that extra RD2 pick to do it. Get right at LB and S with those picks already.

Dude. It’s Craig Carton. A convicted felon who served real jail time for running a fraudulent ticket operation. He has less than zero credibility.

There’s so many great OT options in 1st. I believe Eagles have a nice luxury of sitting back & seeing what falls to them out of the CB & OT pool. I don’t think S will be used on day 2. I feel they sign a vet in FA & roll with Blank/Brown/Vet. I really think we need to accept now that a WR or TE is going to be picked on day 2. I’m not going to complain if they go IOL on day 2 but I’m not sure they do if they believe Steen can be the guy at RG.

interesting draft for the Eagles! Lots of different possibilities

I know. That’s what I said in the last paragraph.

It’s hilarious watching people have a such a crazy discourse over the top pick & what Bears should do. Caleb Williams might not be a perfect prospect, but all of the logic says take him & move on from Fields. Especially if you can get a late 1st or early 2nd for Fields.

like why is this even a discussion really.

LOL. That clip showed 3 runs from the first half of the first game of 2023. I bet you can't find two runs from the entire 2022 season where Hurts slid for a loss on a run.

Why is it that easy? Williams is a man child who clearly doesn't handle adversity well. Pretty easy to see why a team would be hesitant

I cry. You cry. We cry together. At Safety.

Brown out all year?

I want Kinchens so bad. Dawkins 2.0.

Actually more like Minkah F in Pitt.

Howie, hear my sound.

You need a Safety early in the Draft.

If not Kinchens, please Bishop, Bullock, or Brade. Maybe Bullard. One of the B's.

To an extent, he probably was. I'm sure they don't want him to get hurt, but to no one's surprise he was hurt again this season. Seems to be an ongoing thing for him.

At any rate, this game was in the pouring rain and teams have obviously keyed on him keeping the ball and running as evidenced by the 2/3 defenders in the area. He has no where to go.

Seriously? The childish finger nail painting, crying into mommy's arms after a loss, pouting about possibly going to the bears. You think it's gonna get easier at the professional level? Dude has Johnny football levels of maturity

Get it if you can, I say.  I just can't wait to listen to Jerry's word salad when describing why they paid him more than Mahomes.
