Both are wrong, and the injured party should be upset with BOTH individuals.   It doesn't have to be one or the other.  This isn't an either/or, this would be a both/and situation.

BUT... we've got nothing to suggest it happened, so it really doesn't matter anyway.    Hypothetical player A hasn't yet been identified having done anything to or with Hypothetical player B's wife/girlfriend.     A lot to do about nothing so far.

Yea, that's not something that derails an entire team if it even happened. I don't believe a word of it, just some dude trying to claw his way back into relevancy and he knows this fanbase gets riled up easy and will give him the attention he wants.

That said, if something like this WERE to have happened it would easily be Cox as the perpetrator. About to retire, already known for philandering, I could easily see him having eyes for a teammate's chick and saying "F it I'm retiring this year"

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Not following but apparently the Eagles have a Lindros/Brind'Amour situation?  Of course, the all time greatest Eagles paramour was Wes Hopkins, may he rest in peace.

It's a made up situation by a guy who has no sources inside the org and only wants attention

If there are so many then they should be able to find one after their first pick. They can't draft strictly BPA with no regard to position. If they draft an OT it's very possible they end up with a guy who doesn't become a starter for 2 years if Lane's body holds up (missed 1 game this year). Waste of premium resources when you have Stoutland and dire needs on defense.

Sure, if they get to their pick and they have their 2nd rated OT, 10th edge, 8th corner, and 12th safety then sure. But if they have a bunch of equally rated guys I would be disappointed with an OL in Round 1.

I’d argue it’s the opposite. It’s a deep class at the top of the draft, and not all that great in the middle rounds. You’ll have 7 to 9 guys come off the board in the top-50. And then there is a big drop off at OT.

LB, S, CB will have more dudes available in Rd 2 which I agree are bigger needs - the extra 2nd pick helps. Same with WR - sone serious slot talent should be available Rds 2- 4.

Edge I think is like OT - top heavy but given the other needs, unless Hassan or Sweat are gone, I doubt they prioritise this unless the value is way too good to pass up on someone they absolutely love.

I think I've heard that first comment every offseason

Literally every offseason reporters say that, and fans say "Howie has to nail this draft or the team will be set back for years."

You can't add those.  That would be a 12-point plan.

 Blaming the contract?

I wouldn't doubt this but

1. That makes Sirianni look really stupid and I don't know what the point of him is if he needs someone to hold his hand all the time.

2. That doesn't explain why the entire team collapsed.

I believe someone on the Eagles told Gunn that, but I don't think it had anything to do with how their season turned out.

I'd be kinda surprised if Hurts of all people didn't handle his contract well. If there is anyone who can handle the spotlight, it's him. Sounds like excuse making by someone on the Eagles.

As does the Sirianni thing.

They lost because the coaching sucked and the defensive talent wasn't good enough. Everything else is just gossip.

So it was all Greenlaw's fault!  :censored:

With great big checks comes great responsibility.   Not a fan of blaming the contract, or his CHOICE to take on endorsements, etc.   If he can't handle it, he doesn't have to agree to the Hulu deal, etc.  Know your limitations.

Hopefully he is learning his limitations, and this is all part of the maturation process.

Wasn't one of the selling points is that he could handle the big game and attention?

Yup.  If there's even a HINT of truth to this, just make Big Dom the CEO HC and push Nick out the door.  A CEO HC can't do that sort of thing.

As for #2.  Butterfly effect.   Each player poured one out for Big Dom's absence every game... and then drank the rest of the case themself... so that when the games came around, they were too hungover to put in effort or care.

Can Hulu help him watch tape and learn to read a blitz?

Yup.

Damn, looks like Sixto put on Sixto

Someone within the Eagles actually told Gunn that Dom being suspended had a significant outcome on winning football games.

I truly hope this isn't an important person within the team because it's one of the most pathetic things I've heard come from the team in recent memory, honestly.

Remember when i said fans blame reporters but bigger issue someone/people inside the organization can’t just keep to themselves and not say things that don’t need to be aired out? Yeah…

If you can find the older model jerseys by Nike or majestic buy them. They are cheaper in terms of price and better quality

And why bring it back up? We all know they collapsed and looked like dog crap.

A month ago the "report" about him was that he didn't want to do all the sponsors and media, he wanted to focus on football and he was "difficult" for sponsorship companies to deal with or something like that.

So these attempts to make Hurts look bad are: he wants to focus on football not sponsorships, he is stoic and focused during the game instead of laughing and smiling and he doesn't hang out with the players partying enough.

So...he's all business. That should be a good thing.

I don't buy that Siranni flies off the handle like a child.
